Namaste ..

I recall a long time ago, reading Mr B V Raman's book, in which he

says, while discussing Mahadashas.. ' If the 4th mahadasha is Shani's

MD and if the 6th Mahadasha is that of Jupiter,, then the native during

these period will loose all his wealth and rendered penniless.. If the

next MD lord is powerful, then he will be able to build up his

savings,, starting from scratch..

Personalities like Bjorn Borg and Sachin Tendulkar also appear to have

this in their horoscopes..

Perhaps someone can explain how this statement is evolved from and I

would also like to know from group astrologers,, if this has been found

to be true in their experience..

Persons whose first MD is Mars or Venus.. are the people affected ...

Many thanks

Sheevani

Dear Sheevani

On a similar theme in BPHS in begining chapter of Dasa ( not the exact translation but commentary) it mentions same about Sani as 4th Rahu as 5th and Jupiter as 6 ( which means native will get both bad) are likely to bad. Let us see what learned members feel

SHeevaniji,I would suggest you to avoid BV Raman's book - If you read his "How to judge a horoscope" you will see that it is a very good post mortem analysis....The way he goes about analyzing each house is like every planet almost can give results either as:i) primary significatorii) secondary significatoriii) tertiary significatorSo according to BV Raman, all planets can give death, marriage etc - so not of much useRegardsKiransheevani147 <sheevani147 wrote: Namaste .. Dear Kiran

Sorry if I am offending you. I hardly know a thing about astrology and find BV Raman quite difficult to understand. But BV Raman is given a status or present saints by so many renowned astrologers. How can the books of that man be so bad to be out rightly condemned. May be if we read parshara or phaldeepika without commentary it does not much senses either.

My apologies That is what I felt

Dear Kamal ji, I agree with you. Every scholar passed before us should be appreciated for what they did. BV Raman did a great service to astrology by writing commentaries to many books, popularizing astrology even to the western public, by running a good astrological magazine and thus by providing a platform form for may scholars to express their knowledge and on on. All these should be appreciated and NOT contempted or discarded so simply. Definitely nobody is perfect - and so we cannot expect the same in BV Raman's books as well. But they are worth for what they are. And note that even the wrong books or book with less useful information may at times teach us/provide us with some unique/rare/much useful information - everything has a lesson for us - provided

we are receptive.Love and regards,Sreenadh Vedic Learner <sightsolutions wrote: Dear Kiran Sorry if I am offending you.
