Guest guest
Dear Hari ji, The question is simple and the answer is very difficult and needs much elaboration; and that is why no body is attending it. Start to learn astrology and you will gradually know it. Think of asking a question such - how to judge the job of a native from horoscope? Most probably you may not get an answer, because the question springs from the lack of basic understanding about astrology - its merits, demerits and limitations. Further look at your qestion, it clearly presents your ignorance on astrology -> Can someone enlighten me on the planets and houses one should look at> to determine which educational path is appropriate for a native. Note the following points - * Can someone enlighten me - What enlightenment has to do with astrology and a question seeking some data or info ?!!! * on the planets - If you don't know about anything astrological concepts related to planets, do you think that someone will be ready to give you a free crash course to you based on you 2 line question, and spend that much time of his own?!! * and houses - same as above applies here as well. Even if the above is related to education alone, any beginner will have the clear understanding that all houses but especially 2-4-9-11 houses and all the planets but especially Mercury, Jupiter, Venus etc have some relation to higher education. But who would be ready to give a crash course and write a book to answer your 2 line question? * one should look at to determine which educational path is appropriate for a native - Look at today’s world; how much variety of subjects are there? Do you think in the period of sages all these branches where there? How do you expect the astrologers to answer this question - that to taking sharp turns? And this is a grp for ancient indian astrology, and so anything that is not based on astrology classics would be questioned - they know that, but you don't. And that is why the answer is missing. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi Mr Sreenadh Thank you for taking your time to write me a reply You reply has given me an answer to my query. However I hope i can clear up some of the misunderstandings. Firstly linguistically the phrase " Can some enlighten me " means " can someone give me an answer to my problem " and it does not have anything to do with Moksha or enlightment in its literal meaning Secondly, I am not totally clueless about vedic astrology. I do understand the basics such as the functions of each planet and houses and the effect different planets have on different house. However i do know that i am not as skilled in this knowledge as many here and have been only studying this art for about 3 months so I was hopping to clear my confusion and reconfirm my knowledge about education thru this forum like many are doing here about marriage and other stuffs. How does my question not related to ancient indian astrology in any way? Is not vedic astrology also a part of our ancient indian astrology. And even though some of us are experts in art now didn't we all had a time when we were asking similar questions to people who were more wised and knowledgeable then us.But however your answer has helped me and i thank you for that Sir. Thanking you once again Hari , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > Dear Hari ji, > The question is simple and the answer is very difficult and needs > much elaboration; and that is why no body is attending it. Guest guest
Dear Hari ji,==>> How does my question not related to ancient indian astrology in any> way? Is not vedic astrology also a part of our ancient indian> astrology.<== Good to know that you know the basics of astrology. But who told you that your question is NOT related to ancient indian astrology?!!! What I was doing in my previous mail was, explaining to you why none preferred to attend your question. By the way also know that this group is NOT a 'Vedic astrology' group. As many times explained in this group, "Vedic astrology" is a term that refers to the kind of astrology dealt within Vedic literature. Any body who spend even a bit of time checking the vedic literature will understand for sure that those texts deals with "Tropical Astrology" rather than "Nirayana Astrology". So the astrology discussed in this group is more Non-Vedic than Vedic; I think this is one of the basic things to understand. And now I began to wonder - which astrology you learned - Vedic or Non-Vedic ? :=)Love and regards,Sreenadh , "harinomore" <harinomore wrote:>> Hi Mr Sreenadh> > Thank you for taking your time to write me a reply You reply has given> me an answer to my query. However I hope i can clear up some of the> misunderstandings.> > Firstly linguistically the phrase "Can some enlighten me" means "can> someone give me an answer to my problem" and it does not have anything> to do with Moksha or enlightment in its literal meaning > > Secondly, I am not totally clueless about vedic astrology.
