Dear Members,

I think it was Ms Sheevani147 has raised the issue of family members passing through same Mahadasha in varying degrees.....then what is the effect.......I am just posting few riders here

1) Family members going through similar dasha is a common thing

2) The hororscope belongs to an individual so the dasha effect is experienced by the native only

3) Where the hororscopes belongs to wife & husband, then depending upon the strength of the planet in individual hororscopes, possibly, the effect would shared by each of them....for the reason of they sharing the happiness & gloom together.

4) In such cases of mentioned in (3), assuming in one case it is debilitated, other is exalted...then the family would go through a mixed period....for the reasons mentioned in (3)

5) Incase of children, mostly it is about studies or careers.....here there is NO sharing....hence, individual experiences prevail

6) Incases where the parents support the children, assuming the planet is debilitated or poorly placed or seriously afflicted, though in parents charts, it may be well placed or exalted, aspected by all benefics, in benefic signs, vargottam in all vargas..etc. = such parents depending upon the "sanskara" in the family.....the family would "share the events together" as mentioned in (3)

7) In case mentioned above (6), depending upon the parents age, assuming they are on "downhill", then irrespective of their own rise.....they may still be unhappy for children not doing well.....{considering a typical Hindu closely bonded family}

8) Else, we may have current exams of daughters embarrasing fathers...i.e. George W.Bush is a staunch Catholic Supporter, so against abortion, while daughters are "for it".... { my limited understanding in current affairs...correct me if I am wrong..}.....{ well George Bush has been my favorite for humor reasons.....and would read everything published on internet about him...}

9) Now appling the transits.....{my favorite teacher at BVB, Delhi, Col Gour an exceptionaly sound & simple person, demystifies charts in minutes.. calls Planetary Transits as Courier Boys}.... say Rahu or Saturn transits...which everyone rushes to paint them in darkest Black....giving bad times.....to those hororscopes, discussed above......the results experienced would be a mixed ones......

10) If one were to closely analyse the democracy in our planetary dasha, i.e. every planet takes turns to deliver his promises....in a round rotation { looks like Management on Rotation in modern day concepts...followed by M/s Unilever earlier....}, so even during the "BADDEST" { my equivalent for Hindi word "Badmash"} {worst}, there are periods of good news / happenings /events..etc.. { So another proof that our sages were original proponents of democracy !!}

11) Ofcourse, there is a limitation or exception to Point 10, i.e. it will continue till some planet suddenly assumes Maraka role..... i.e. want to become a dictator..and stop the round rotation....

Beyong the above, there is NO special signifcance attached in the astro_classics for family members running same dasha.....

I am watching a family running -

a) well placed saturn {venus vargottam}

b) debilitated saturn {ok venus positions}

c) debilitated Venus {saturn well placed}

they are through the mid-course of this marathon dashas.. {Saturn 19 years, Venus -20 yrs}, rest all fair.....in life.....
