Dear Group,

I have written some verses on Laghu

Parasarai as that was triggered by some discussion on KAS list.

I had saved those on my blog for those who

would be interested.

Re: Quize of the Day - 2nd lord in Lagna and

Nasargic signification of houses

Dear Friends,

What Renu ji saying about the functioning of houses is correct upto

some extent.

But one should remember that a nativity belongs to a particular person

and the various houses assume

some permanent signification and within that parameter

,acquired signification of the houses operate.

Let us take the example of 12H.This is bhagya house

from 4H (MOTHER), and Sukha house from 9H (Father).

Fate of mother and physical assets of father depend on the basic

signification of 12H OF NATIVE

i,e, losses,wasteful-expenditure.extravagance,hospitalisation

etc on negative side;moksa, divine knowledge etc on positive side.

This is the reason that whenever any planet occupies the signs

occupying Trik houses in any Varga chart , do attract some or the other

blemish.

2H and 7H are called Marka houses . This trait is acquired by these

houses on Bhavta-bhava principle , and is activated and operative only in

certain specific circumstances and timings. This is the reason Laghu Parasari in

sloka 33 says " If a Raja - yoga commences in the Sub-period of

Marka Planet(i.e. 2HL and 7HL),it continues even in subsequent

Sub-periods of Malefic planets.

P.M. Narshimha Rao is a good example.He assumed P.M.Ship in Mars/Rahu

period (Rahu placed in 2H), and completed his term.

Re: Quize of the Day - 2nd lord in

Lagna

Dear

Sreenadh ji,

" The above point tells us

that no house lord can be truly considered as benefic or malefic - but only as

indicators of some results. Like a single human being can have divine as

well as devilish qualities; like the same dasa or even day can provide both

happy and sad results; like the life a mix of both positive and negative

things; like the same rose plant that contains both flower and the thrown - The

same planet itself can indicate both benefic and malefic results at the same

time. Even the best benefic placed in the best benefic house will have some

malefic result to indicate; even the worst malefic placed in the worst malefic

house will have some benefic result to indicate. "

How beautiful... this is simply LIFE

with its recurring ups and downs!

blessings
