Dear Sreenadh ji, I did not experience what you are saying about 2nd lord being in lagna. Dear Krishnaji,

 

A strong Lagna does not augur well to 2H, for it is 12H from 2H. It is

11H from 3H !! You may extend what further what else could be said

considering only 2HL in Lagna, leaving it out other planetary

combinations. You may apply this principle in general in other

hororscopes as well.....Discuss here is very generic.....not particular

to any chart.

This possibility for some problem regarding having children, especially son, is strengthened. * If 2nd lord is in lagna, even though the native will have a good wife and family, he will be less attached to the family and will find only less time for the family. This result is predicted by many sages including Parasara and Lomasa; since I know that there is a firm logical ground for this derivation - I firmly believe that the statement would be true in many horoscopes. Now the quiz is - 1. Can you guess the logic behind this derivation? :) 2. Dear Sreenadh ji, OK, since you have given more details now, I confirm that I have two daughters only and no son. Originally you said "son/daughter" in your mail. Hence, I reacted :-) Well, you are right that only my family can answer how I look after them. Hence, I don't want to elaborate on that :-) Now to the logic, let me give a try: Any lord occupying a house previous to its own is unfavourable to the house in question. This is well known as a general guideline. And things fall in place as 2nd house represents family among other things. And, the family includes children I guess. But, in this particular case, 2nd lord occupies one of the strongest houses of the horoscope - a kendra as well as kona. Hence, it should bring some benefic results as well. Dear Sreenadh,

 

I will also make an attempt but using the

Laws of KAS.

 

2nd lord is Karak for

marriage. So 2nd lord in 1st house is in a Kendra so

fortified however that being said, from 1st house, the 2nd

lord who is Karak will aspect House B or 7th house of Marriage. So

here the following things are happening.

 

1) 2nd lord – Karak for

marriage is aspecting 7th house so its disqualified to give

marriage.

2) 2nd lord in 12th house

from itself, is loosing status as Karak for marriage. So that means the

results of 7th house i.e. quality of 7th house results

are reduced or affected.

3) If there are other laws that cause

delay of Marriage then if the marriage is late then so will childbirth

(applicable in orthodox environment where 2nd house so kutumb /

family becomes karak for marriage).

4) If 7th house matters are

delayed then 7th house is karak for 12th house i.e. bed

pleasures

5) if 12th house of bed

pleasures is delayed, which is the Karak for 5th house, so will the

results of 5th house.

 

12th house is karak of the

karak for 7th house i.e. 2nd house. So if 2nd

house is disturbed or its status reduces it will definitely affect 7th

which will effect 12th which will effect 5th house.

 

Now, in todays day and age, some people do

not want children, or people put career first and then once settled want

children so that “desire” portion to have children might be based

on the thinking process of yester years or even in major cities in India, this phenomenon

is being experienced where people are having kids at a later age.

 

The life expectancy is also increased due

to advanced in medicine, unlike back in the old days where if marriage was

delayed very much then ……………………….

Dear Sreenadh,

 

If Marriage is delayed then automatically

childbirth gets delayed. That is what I meant.

 

Say in a society where early marriage is

21 years and if a person gets married at 34 years of age, and has a child after

35, then the time between marriage and childbirth is not much, but in the

overall picture 35 years might be considered delayed by those who have kids say

at 21 years or 23 years or say earlier.

 

I hope its clear on what I meant.

Dear Ash ji,

I am not sure whether the marriage will get delayed if

2nd lord is in lagna or not - we need to verify it from the response of group

members. I have no clue yet to make such a derivation. May be you are

right - but we need to verify it in known charts.

I remember one horoscope

in which 2nd lord is in Lagna, but that was a special case with Capricorn as ascendant.

Any way the actual result is: The native married in relatively proper time, and

has 2 children, 1 daughter and 1 son. But there is a big age difference between

the children, and as you can expect - the son is the youngest; A son gains

after long years of waiting. When the people for whom 2nd lord is in

lagna come forward and reveal the facts we will have more clarity regarding the

results and possibilities.

Oh yes what you are saying is

correct. 2nd lord in 1st is not a LAW for delay of

Marriage and I have said the same thing in my mail.

 

Here I am quoting my 3rd point

that I wrote that in my mail

No 2nd lord in 1st means

Quality of 7th house is affected. Not timing of event.

 

For delay of Marriage, there are proper

laws like Saturn causes delay, Jupiter causes delay, 0’s in SAV cause

delay, spoilt venus can cause delay (specifc laws), 0’s in navamsa in SAV

might casue delay.

 

Quality of event and timing of event are 2

different things. So if Karak or karak sthan is spoilt then that might

affect the QUALITY of 7th house.

Dear Ash and Renu ji,

Without checking the horoscope - from Renu ji's mail it is clear that -

* The native got married at the age of 27. (If it is

girls horoscope it is a late marriage; if male horoscope a

marriage in proper time)

* The first child was a daughter - and they waited for

2 years to get a female child and in the next year itself they

got a male child!

On the first look - it deos not seem that the quote (delay in

having son) became applicable in this case. Dear Renu ji - what

is your opinian regarding the reading for '2nd lord in lagna' and the

experience of this native - regarding this? ;)

Dear Sreenadh ji, I got married at the age of 26, which I consider the right age for males to get married. I don't think there was any delay. I got my first daughter around 14 months from my marriage date. Dear Sreenadh and Renu,

 

I am not sure about this birth time.

There seems to be much delay and based on the timing this marriage should have

lots of problems and lots of seperations.

 

In any case, I have studied this chart

and I have a few questions for validation of the birth time.

 

1) Is this person doing some business?

2) is this persons career connected to

mechanical or engineering

3) Less happiness from father or

separation at young age?

4) Purchased some property or vehicles

between jan 1990 / feb 1991.

5) Faced more expenditure between 1994

till mid 1996.

ALL other things attributable to 2HL in Lagna as per YOUR ARTICLE is applicable to this native....EXCEPT 'delay in having son'. His 'hobby' is social service and is an excellent organizer of such events., does so much of good work for friends, for the needy, for schools & religion etc.etc. He is detached from his 'parental family'. As you have mentioned in your article, it is not that he doesn't love them but he keeps a distance from them. He is wealthy. But tight fisted...so says his wife, a good friend of mine.

Coming to "want of a son"...I wonder whether the dictum is applicable indirectly to this native. Let me relate a certain incident. His son a healthy boy, most unexpectedly was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his head [not brain] in October/November 2003. It was an unexpected blow to this little happy family. A surgery was done, successfully and his last scan was done a few months ago, negating any symptom of cancer anymore. He is quite normal, happy & healthy now. BUT ever since that ciritcal diagnosis...the father [and the mother too] ...are in great tense a feeling which would never take them back to the good old days. Yes, I know very well though the son is completely cured, the feeling 'want of a son' or rather the scary thought of having almost lost their son once....haunts their minds. Besides, this handsome son, now got to wear a bandana around his head, to cover a deep cavity in the back of his head. This too worries the parents very much. Once the green light is given a plastic surgery will bring him back to normal. But the point is that this native though was blessed with a fine son....is destined to worry over him through out his life time. So in a way ..'want of a son'.... as a result of 2HL placed in Lagna of the native may be applicable here.

Dear Renu ji,

That is quite and unusual story...! Similar to that life

story itself it is cute to note that Parasara and Lomasa limited

themselves by saying 'want of son' - and never said 'no son' -

but which defenitly they did for 2nd lord 2nd!!!

The birth time is correct. No doubt about it. As far as I know the marriage too is good and no problems related to marriage so far. They are a loving couple.

Not exactly. But he is a CEO of a business organization. Wealthy, efficient and gifted with good managerial skills.

No.

3) Less happiness from father or separation at young age?

Yes,Father died when he was 19 or so. I will confirm the exact year and let you know later.

4) Purchased some property or vehicles between jan 1990 / feb 1991.

I am not sure. Will check on this. Anyway he owns a company maintained vehicle and not his own.

5) Faced more expenditure between 1994 till mid 1996.

They built a house around this time or a year or two earlier.

I will surely get you exact details tomorrow...

Dear Shreenathji and all respected participants ,

 

I am a silent member of the forum but active reader of all the mails ........since this quiz is applicable to me hence was seriously going thru each and every mail on the same.

Mine is Cancer ascendent with Sun ( 2nd lord ) in lagna with mars.....Add to this presently sun mahadasha ( 2nd lord in lagna ) is on from jan 2005 .........would like to share what all is applicable to me due to same :

 

Marriage : at the age of 28 years 6 months ( cannot be considered delay )...score 2-3 out of 10.

 

Children : perfectly applicable as accepted by almost all the members " want of child " - YES after almost 11 years of marriage no issue till date......score 10

 

Wealth : not wealthy by todays parameter , but yes enjoying good life with own house and car etc at the age of 39 ....score 4-5

 

Parents / support to family : Till age of 22 from childhood was with parents then with start of job left home ( in city just 50 kms away from parents house )...in a way was near to parents till age of 36 ...BUT start of sun mahadasha ( 2nd lord in lagna ) have thrown away not only from parents but from india ..presently in gulf since last 3 years .......hence predictions are correct to some extent but dasha is also in picture......score 5 before start of dasha & score 10 after start of dasha.

 

Speech : Good .....score 7-8

 

Face : Good ....score 7-8

 

Food : fond of good food ....frequent to hotels , restaurants ....score 8-9.

 

Help to others : Always ready ......score 7-8

 

Family life / Bed pleasures : Good .......score 7-8.

Friends,

 

This is my first posting in this group.

 

I have seen following things in people who have 2nd lord in Lagna .

 

1. Family supports the person longer than usual.

 

2. Not much of a help to family where he is born.

 

3 speech is harsh and without feelings.

 

3. Lack of dynamism

 

4. Inherits property in young age.

 

5. Wife's health remains delicate/sickly etc.

 

We need to look at other combinations also.

I am a silent member of the forum but active reader of all the mails ........since this quiz is applicable to me hence was seriously going thru each and every mail on the same.

Parents / support to family : Till age of 22 from childhood was with parents then with start of job left home ( in city just 50 kms away from parents house )...in a way was near to parents till age of 36 ...BUT start of sun mahadasha ( 2nd lord in lagna ) have thrown away not only from parents but from india ..presently in gulf since last 3 years .......hence predictions are correct to some extent but dasha is also in picture......score 5 before start of dasha & score 10 after start of dasha.

 

Speech : Good .....score 7-8

 

Face : Good ....score 7-8

 

Food : fond of good food ....frequent to hotels , restaurants ....score 8-9.

 

Help to others : Always ready ......score 7-8

ALL other things attributable to 2HL in Lagna as per YOUR ARTICLE is applicable to this native....EXCEPT 'delay in having son'. His 'hobby' is social service and is an excellent organizer of such events., does so much of good work for friends, for the needy, for schools & religion etc.etc. He is detached from his 'parental family'. As you have mentioned in your article, it is not that he doesn't love them but he keeps a distance from them. He is wealthy. But tight fisted...so says his wife, a good friend of mine.

Coming to "want of a son"...I wonder whether the dictum is applicable indirectly to this native. Let me relate a certain incident. His son a healthy boy, most unexpectedly was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his head [not brain] in October/November 2003. It was an unexpected blow to this little happy family. A surgery was done, successfully and his last scan was done a few months ago, negating any symptom of cancer anymore. He is quite normal, happy & healthy now. BUT ever since that ciritcal diagnosis... the father [and the mother too] ...are in great tense a feeling which would never take them back to the good old days. Yes, I know very well though the son is completely cured, the feeling 'want of a son' or rather the scary thought of having almost lost their son once....haunts their minds. Besides, this handsome son, now got to wear a bandana around his head, to cover a deep cavity in the back of his head. This too worries the parents very much. Once the green light is given a plastic surgery will bring him back to normal. But the point is that this native though was blessed with a fine son....is destined to worry over him through out his life time. So in a way ..'want of a son'.... as a result of 2HL placed in Lagna of the native may be applicable here.

Thanks for your feedback. As per KAS we

do follow the conception theory. So when the house is conceived and

commencement started, is in line. Same way for child birth, as per KAS we time

the conception period and not the actual child birth. Same way for job etc.

 

So this event is in line. This native is

a CEO is also in line and I had said business, this was based on the SAV points

that were in rising trend. Such persons can’t work undersomeone or if

they do a job or something then they must be senior manager or CEO where they

need their own space to work and direct things as per their wishes. So that is

in line.

 

Regarding more expenses period that I had

given, you can also confirm that when you get a chance.

 

If more events are matching, then the time

is close to accurate.

 

Yes, one more thing, as per Sri Lanka and

as per the time and the city or village where this native was, what would be

considered an early marriage? Now if early marriage is say 16-18 then 27 would

be considered delay which is what I am getting in this chart based on

calculations.
