Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji, " I have question to all - What is the result to be predicted if 2nd house lord is in Lagna. If 2nd lord is in Lagna the native "will be in want of children (son/daughter) and not much helpful to his own family - Why?!!" Let me try. 2nd house represents family of the native among many other things. Hence when the 2HL the owner of the 2nd house is placed in Lagna, it will be placed in the 12th from his own house. Since 12th house signifies loss etc. , the 2nd lord thus placed in the 12th from its house, results in native being detached from his family. Hence the native may not be helpful to his/her own family and will be more self oriented. Now coming to the difficult part...why would such a native be want of children????? 2nd lord in Lagna will aspect the 7th house. The seventh aspect of a planet is to "protect the native's house and children....... 7th house is the house of marriage, partner etc. When 2HL aspects native's 7th house the native desires domestic stability in life". Stability in marriage will be strengthned if children are born to the native/partner. Hence the want of children when 2HL is placed in Lagna. Guest guest
Dear Mehta ji, Note quite there.. :=) Try once more! >Anything connected with Lagna cannot be unauspiscious No! The sages never thought so! (This is the result provided by Parasara and Lomasa!) There methodologies are different and in this case we will soon see what it is - in this case. Of course when something is related to the lagna, there are several good things also can be predicted - of course this is true in this case as well. So I appreciate your intuition which says that there should be something good there when something is connected to lagna. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji, 2HL, the owner of house of income in Lagna = good income through native's own efforts. As krishna ji stated 2HL, though placed in 12th house from its own house, will be housed strongly since 12H from 2H is Lagna of the native. So as far as income is concerend it will be a positive placement. But as far as the parents' familiy is concerned the negative significance of a planet placed in the 12th from its house will be felt by the native. All in all the native may be in want of children to have an heir to pass his/her property, investments etc. after his demise. 2HL is also a death inflicting planet. So placed in lagna would affect native's longevity too. The native would not like anyone other than his children inheriting his property since he is detached from his parental family. I can see how the same planet can be benefic and malefic simultaneously. Hmmm....if wrong again ..I will try once more. After all failures are the pillars of success. blessings Renu In , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > > Dear all, > I have question to all - What is the result to be predicted if 2nd > house lord is in Lagna. > > This question is specially aimed at Renu ji, Kiran ji, Vinita ji etc > - just intending to break there benefic/malefic theory with an example. > :=) > I will refine the question going a bit further - If 2nd lord is in > Lagna the native " will be in want of children (son/daughter) and not > much helpful to his own family - Why?!! > > Love and Regards, > Sreenadh >
Guest guest
If 2nd lord is in Lagna the native " will be in want of children (son/daughter) and not much helpful to his own family - Why?!! this is shreenu's question which has us totally foxed! of course, as others have also pointed out, if the chart is looked from the house of kutumbh, the lord of Kutummbh is 12th to it.- so the native, signified by ascendant, will be " lost " / not helpful to the family. But as also pointed out by renuji, " want of children " is the tricky bit. Using Renuji's cue, lord of 2nd house aspects 7th H from 1st but 2nd house itself is 8th from 7th while 5th house of children is 11th from 7th. 11th house is the house of gains/desires/wanting? From the 11th house, 5th house is 6th, an inimical houae. i think i am totally confused...i cannot keep pace with these lessons, anyway. Guest guest
Dear all,2H lord in lagan would mean that it has gone to 12H from 2nd. Since 2H stands for family and additions to family, 2L in lagan would mean want of family/progeny. By the same logic, it would also indicate deficiency/want/loss of family relations, etc. Alternatively it may indicate that that the person is family-minded, money-minded, food-minded etc, not really meaning that he'll get all the 2H significations even if the 2L is benefic and well-placed in lagan. Though such a native will attach self to 2H significations, he may not enjoy these coz' 2L has gone in 12th from its house. For example, despite having wealth he might be miserly and not enjoy his money. Is this is what Sreenadhji wants us to understand?love and regardsneelam On 04/01/2008, Sreenadh < sreesog wrote: Dear all, I have question to all - What is the result to be predicted if 2nd house lord is in Lagna. Guest guest
Dear Neelam ji, "Is this is what Sreenadhji wants us to understand" If I am not mistaken what Sreenadh ji wants us to understand is that there are no such thing as benefic or malefic planet. The same planet or rather the owner of a house can be benefic and malefic at the same time. Let me quote from one of his earlier lessons: "the benefic/malefic classification WILL NOT lead us to much in the proper direction; becausethe same placement, same planet/house can indicate BOTH beneficial and maleficial result at the same time. Thus no planet isbenefic/malefic,no house is benefic/malefic in the true sense. The truth is all signs/houses/planets have several significances some of which are beneficial some maleficial - or better even treating some significance as beneficial/maleficial is too our assumption/imagination - the truth being that the sign/house/house point to some 'thing or quolity' which is neither beneficial not maleficial. Thus it becomes clear that SIGNIFICANCE of sign/house/planet is what lies at the bottom of result derivation. Guest guest
Dear All,I will try and apply house method, house-planet and planet-sign method to this quiz2nd house lord is in lagna is sustana - so generally it should do good for the things signified by the 2nd house like vitta (wealth), wak (Speech), family (kutumba), writing (patrika), swa (own efforts), riches (annapanna) and eyesight. This is per Sreenadhji's documents and has been proven correct in many cases. Now where can the exceptions be. Let us see:*** Second house is family. 12th from family should indicate losses, unhappiness from family. Second house lord in lagna from lagna reference means it is in 12th house (dustana) from 2nd house. This can cause losses, unhappiness, misery from familyNow keeping wealth as reference, speech as reference or anything signified by 2nd house, all should suffer!!!! - so for all of these we have to modify the principle above - that 2HL in sustana is good but not in 7H (6th from 2nd), 9th (8th from 2nd) and 1st (12th from 2nd)Now let us look at the planet-house combination:Lagna 2nd House LordAries VenusTaurus MercuryGemini MoonCancer SunLeo MercuryVirgo VenusLibra MarsScorpio JupiterSaggitarius SaturnCapricorn SaturnAquarius JupiterPisces Marseffectively it boils down to effects of different planets in different houses and in different signsIf we use "planets in various houses" then malefic planets in 1H (Sun, Mars, Saturn) should give bad resultsSo let us take "planets in various signs":Per Vriddha Yavana Hora, there are a lot of combinations for planet-sign that can cause negative results for family/child e.g:The Sun in Cancer produces a man who hates his own allies and is subject to others, one who lacks determination in action and talks stupidly, who cannot stand in one place and delights in drinking; (Which is for 2nd house lord Sun in Cancer lagna)Mercury in Leo produces a man having little memory and no knowledge or artistic talent; a man devoid of energy, strength, steadfastness, and good conduct, a liar despised in the world; (this is for Leo Lagna, 2HL will be mercury)Mercury in Taurus produces a handsome man, generous and of good conduct; one who indulges in music, play, sexual intercourse, and laughter, a clever and bold man whose words are kindly and sweet; (extra marital affairs for Taurus lagna)So for atleast 80% of the planet-sign possible from 2HL in lagna, there are -ves indicated. This maybe the problemRegardsKiranSreenadh <sreesog wrote: Dear all, I have question to all - What is the result to be predicted if 2nd house lord is in Lagna. Guest guest
Dear Renuji,I get your point and also fully agree with you. I meant the same though it wasn't clear in the way I said. I believe that good/bad is how we perceive things. However, i have a doubt. As per classics, there are malefics and benefics. Taking the same example of 2H, if the 2L is a natural malefic, say mars, as 2L it will give results according to its significations and PAC, which we may call benefic or malefic. What about its placement in lagan as a malefic only, not as a lord of any house. Any planet placed in a sign does impart its own nature to the sign and house. Will a malefic planet not cloud the house as per its own nature. Will not the aspect of this mars cause problems with 4H/7H/8H. We all know that benefic PAC on lagan makes a person good looking and malefic PAC takes away the good looks. Guest guest
Dear Members, Mridula Trivedi's research indicated Jupiter in Scorpio giving malefic results to the extent of breaking marriges when connected to 7H. This was to a great extent accepted by Late Sri P.S. Sastri & Sri K.N. Rao, though Sastri acknowledged it in his book {Scientificy Astrology..etc.. Vol-1 & 2}. You can good examples of real cases in her book i.e. Mridula Trivedi's book - do not remember the name, it was some title linked to marriage. Guest guest
Hare ramakrishna, dear sreenadh ji . If we concentrate on only on ur question on children affairs the secret may be in Tatwas . First /5th/9th houses are firy in nature 2nd/6th/10th houses are earthy in nature .But u can see watery also a mixed So according K P ( kaala purusha ) chart from aries ,the 2nd lord venus is jala tatwa planet and if its in fire rasi its qualities gets changed or diverted . More over from 5th house ,the 2nd house is karma stana( can we call house of action ) ,its going to its 12th .So again may be some difference in gving the results . More over the tatwas are always in trikona ,so when different tatwa represnting planets can interefere the other Tatwa . All r my wild guesses .May be rishis has different things in mind . regrds sunil nair om shreem mahalaxmai namah. , "Sreenadh" <sreesog wrote:>> > Dear all,> I have question to all - What is the result to be predicted if 2nd> house lord is in Lagna.> > This question is specially aimed at Renu ji, Kiran ji, Vinita ji etc> - just intending to break there benefic/malefic theory with an example.> :=)> I will refine the question going a bit further - If 2nd lord is in> Lagna the native "will be in want of children (son/daughter) and not> much helpful to his own family - Why?!!> > Love and Regards,> Sreenadh>
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaye.. Namaste ji, Here I go,, footfirst!! But what can I say,, it is worth a try!!!! I personally feel that the 2nd lord in lagna would promote most of the significance of the 2nd house.. The 2:12 relationship of the lord of the house and the house is not helpful and may incur some loss, especially of ancestral property, but this may well be compensated by the gains of lord being in a sustana sthana.. 2H represents family, wealth, food and speech, face.. Native will get good food and family. I feel there would be gain of wealth but more likely due to power of speech.. posibily, even fame is posiible due to power of speech and 'chairisma' as second house does signify face too.. native may be preoccupied with high profile public committees etc. This is further supported by the fact that most of the dhan yogas do have interactions of lagna,2H, 11H and 9H combinations.. As regards to progeny.. can only guess... 2L, having marka powers causing disharmonious effect on the 7H of relationship??? hence delaying progeny!!! Regards Sheevani , Kiran R <kiran.rama wrote: > > Dear All, > > I will try and apply house method, house-planet and planet-sign method to this quiz > > 2nd house lord is in lagna is sustana - so generally it should do good for the things signified by the 2nd house like vitta (wealth), wak (Speech), family (kutumba), writing (patrika), swa (own efforts), riches (annapanna) and eyesight. > This is per Sreenadhji's documents and has been proven correct in many cases. > > Now where can the exceptions be. Guest guest
father of the child (5th) is 9th from 5th which is 1st or lagna (native himself). 5th from lagna is 4th from 2nd...and lord of 2nd itself is 12th. So some kind of a loss of 4th from 2nd too??? ok....no more tries...i'ver tried enough! 12th signifies loss...whreas 5th is , " vinita kumar " <shankar_mamta wrote: > > also father is 8th from 2nd...(9th from lagna)...and lord of 2nd is > 12th from 2nd. > > 8th from second is " in debt " ...in want of? > > 9th from lagna is 5th from 5th just as 5th from lagna is 9th from > 9th... > > i dunno where i am going...cannot get the right connection...! > > > , " vinita kumar " > <shankar_mamta@> wrote: > > > > After looking at these clues, i am making one more try! > > > > 5th is 4th from 2nd. 4th house is the house of Sukha > > also?...fulfillment of desires (not so sure)!? > > > > now if the lord of 2nd is 12th from 2nd, does it not signify it is > > unfulfilled sukha (4th) of children (5th from lagna but 4th from > > 2nd)?... > > > > wild, wild try!!! > > > > > > , " Sreenadh " > > <sreesog@> wrote: > > > > > > > > > Dear Mehta ji, > > > > > > Note quite there.. :=) Try once more! > > > > > > >Anything connected with Lagna cannot be unauspiscious > > > > > > No! Guest guest
why want of children is more applicable to want of " son " is because Singh / Leo is the 5th house of the natural zodiac ruled by Sun signifying male child???....pun not intended. , " vinita kumar " <shankar_mamta wrote: > > father of the child (5th) is 9th from 5th which is 1st or lagna > (native himself). > > 5th from lagna is 4th from 2nd...and lord of 2nd itself is 12th. > > So some kind of a loss of 4th from 2nd too??? > > ok....no more tries...i'ver tried enough! > > 12th signifies loss...whreas 5th is > , " vinita kumar " > <shankar_mamta@> wrote: > > > > also father is 8th from 2nd...(9th from lagna)...and lord of 2nd > is > > 12th from 2nd. > > > > 8th from second is " in debt " ...in want of? > > > > 9th from lagna is 5th from 5th just as 5th from lagna is 9th from > > 9th... > > > > i dunno where i am going...cannot get the right connection...! > > > > > > , " vinita kumar " > > <shankar_mamta@> wrote: > > > > > > After looking at these clues, i am making one more try! > > > > > > 5th is 4th from 2nd. 4th house is the house of Sukha > > > also?...fulfillment of desires (not so sure)!? > > > > > > now if the lord of 2nd is 12th from 2nd, does it not signify it > is > > > unfulfilled sukha (4th) of children (5th from lagna but 4th from > > > 2nd)?... > > > > > > wild, wild try!!! > > > > > > > > > , " Sreenadh " > > > <sreesog@> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear Mehta ji, > > > > > > > > Note quite there.. :=) Try once more! > > > > > > > > >Anything connected with Lagna cannot be unauspiscious > > > > > > > > No! Guest guest
Dear Renu ji,==>Hmmm....if wrong again ..I will try once more. After all failuresare the pillars of success.<== Right you said. Guest guest
Dear Vinita ji, Think in terms of Kalapurusha chart - KP (i.e. Natural Chart -NH), the national high way proposed by the sages. Two secret foxes will become visible Such secret foxes [such as KP(Karna Pisachini!!)/NH] are favorites of Sunil ji. :)Love and regards,Sreenadh , "vinita kumar" <shankar_mamta wrote:>> If 2nd lord is in Lagna the native "will be in want of children > (son/daughter) and not much helpful to his own family - Why?!!> > this is shreenu's question which has us totally foxed!> > of course, as others have also pointed out, if the chart is looked > from the house of kutumbh, the lord of Kutummbh is 12th to it.- so > the native, signified by ascendant, will be "lost" / not helpful to > the family. > > But as also pointed out by renuji, "want of children" is the tricky > bit.> > Using Renuji's cue, lord of 2nd house aspects 7th H from 1st but 2nd > house itself is 8th from 7th while 5th house of children is 11th > from 7th. 11th house is the house of gains/desires/wanting? Guest guest
Dear Neelam Gupta ji, If 2nd lord in lagna the native would be sufficiantly wealthy, and would be much helpful to others (i.e. he won't be a miser). So you interpretation is not quite there .... means this is not what meant or wanted to point to. Have one more try using Kalapurusha chart. Guest guest
Dear Renu ji, You are absolutly right. :)Love and regards,Sreenadh , "renunw" <renunw wrote: Dear Neelam ji, "Is this is what Sreenadhji wants us to understand" If I am not mistaken what Sreenadh ji wants us to understand is that there are no such thing as benefic or malefic planet.
