Dear Members,

 

I would any " aged " members in the group should they have any information

of proclamation time of Republic China ? whether it is morning or

afternoon or evening proclamation by Mao Zedong on 01-Oct-1949 at

Tinnamen Square ?

 

The recent economic strides made by China are praiseworthy, for time

being we shall keep its democratic or human rights credentials aside,

made me to delve into the astrology side of this country, which when

seen through eyes of history has seen enough wars & bloodshed i.e.

entire history is authoritarian.

 

Presuming that the proclamation must have happened during the day time,

so took 12:00 hrs as a base, casted the hororscope, it gave { ignoring

Lagna for time is debatable, so giving Moon chart details}

 

Moon in Capricon, Rahu in Sagittarius [3H], Mars(deb) in Cancer [7H],

Saturn in Leo [8H], Ketu+Mercury+Sun in Virgo [9H], Venus in Libra

[10H], Jupiter in Sagittarius [12H].

Moon in Pisces, Rahu in Aquarius, Sun+Venus in Taurus, Mercury in

Cancer, Ketu in Leo, Saturn in Virgo, Jupiter in Sagittarius

 

Saturn Mahadasha started in July 2001. { Depending upon the actual time

of proclamation, the dasha may shift by a month or so max.}.

 

I am not good at mundane predictions, except for participating in stray

discussions with friends, just got interested in this case for China's

lack of transparency in its any activity - i.e. economic policies, its

methods in its currency valuation / evaluation, total authoritarian

ruling & intimidating behavior towards its neighbours, which Pakistan

seems to be imitating, ...etc..

 

Would invite any observations on above data ......

Dear Srinivasji,

There was a discussion on country's birth charts by a TV based astrologer who unlike most others is not very commercial. I distinctly remember him saying that China has Venus in its 10th house and is therefore most diplomatic of all the countries, guided only by self interest.

Point : 10th house has probably the most nos of karaka's and Venus is among the few planets which is not a karaka. Therefore whereas the Karaka planets give very powerful results, they also give equally bad results when in the 10th house. The non-Karaka planets give more uniform results (Venus).

Saturn is good (karaka) in 8th house but it is in Leo and as lagna lord slightly negative. It aspects swagrahi Venus in its house of exalation Libra. This makes it very good place for business. Moon and Mars exchange making it very aggressive and easily provoked/excitable. Rahu in 3rd house,in enemy sign can lead to (mis)adventurous nature, especially with neighbours. 6th house lord in 9th in own sign with Sun ensures that enemies to the nation are pushed down due to intervention of the Government. Jupiter's gaze on Lagna lord makes it wise. It is said that the Kings wise advisor has such a combination.

It looks like, Chinese stock markets will be very profitable, Saturn will ensure decrease in procreation, it is the best place to produce artistic things, it will have huge store of hydrocarbons in its subterrain, and it will face huge floods and eartquakes often. Also the rulers/govt. denoted by Sun, in the 9th house with ketu could mean, wierd attitude towards religion, different types of religious practices. It could also mean a very accident prone transport system. Please see that Saturns gaze on 10th house will mean that labour class will of parmount importance. Thus any flexibility in labour laws will be there only to the extant that it favours job creation. Our leaders should take some Chinese leaves to chew on.
