Dear Hentry ji,

Learn some good beginners book in ancient indian astrology to get a

starting - much material is available in the net itself.

To answer your question in briefest possible manner -

* A planet in exaltation or own house can be considered as strong.

* A sign/house whose lord is strong can be considered as strong.

* Ju-Ve-Me-Mo are considered as benefics and Sa-Ma-Su-Ra-Ke are

considered as malefics.

But note that this just a approximate statement only, which will get

modified much due to corrolories and exception rules as your study

progresses.

Love and regards,

Sreenadh

started to read in regards with this subject. I would like to know how

do we ascertain which house is strongest/ weakest/ beneficial and

non-beneficial and similarly the planets in the chart.

will be the father, mother, a foe, a friend, a brother, a wife or a

servant, according as the Sun or any of the other planets taken in

order occupies the 10th place from the Lagna or the Moon whichever is

> Sloka 9 : When the planet owning the Navamsa is strong, there will

be acquisition of wealth without by exertion. If it should be weak,

very little wealth accrues. The country of acquisition will be that

signified by the sign representing the 10th house or the Navamsa

occupied by the lord of the 10th house. But if this sign be occupied

or aspected by its lord he will earn in his own country. The same will

be the result if the Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 10th house be

an immoveable Rasi. And if the said sign be occupied or aspected by

planets other .than its lord, the native will earn in the place other

than his native country.

Sun determines your job. (Also note that it is Virgo sign and also

that the Sign lord Mercury is aspecting lagna from 7th and is in

Vargottama). (Gk is not considered in such things, Sa dasa is yet to

come) For you Jupiter dasa is running currently from 1999 to 2015.

Thus clearly it is the Jupiter in Virgo, 10th house from Sun, the one

which determined your current Job. Know that Mantreswara is right and

accurate!

everywhere, is there any corollaries or amendments to be considered?'

or something like that. :=)
