Regarding Sairamnji's example, there is a postulate which says; When the Karaka of a house sits in that house it destroys the phala of that house. Also I think 10th house has maximum Karakas. What you are saying could be quite correct. Recently, while analysing a blind chart which had Jupiter and Mars exalted and aspecting each other, I rated the person very high. It was a total flop for me. Later, I came to know that it is a chart of a famous convict who was convicted for abusing his wife in the US. Some people term this combination as 'Ucchabhanga' .

 

But, we also have such a combination in Shri Rama's chart ...

True. I guess a similar result should be expected when both Venus and Mercury are exalt and when both Sun and Saturn are exalt.
