Guest guest
Dear Jyotiben, Good to visit basic_astrology once in a while to activate different grey cells in the brain. Responding to your query: a) If a planet is in its own or exaltation or moolatrikona sign b) If placed in kendra or trikona c) If aspected by a benefic {considering natural & temporal relations= final benefics}, excellent condition. Atleast it should be free from any affliction. d) If the planet is in a friendly © nakshatra lord e) I would consider the dispositor theory, only for Rahu & Ketu and in cases where the planet is in exaltation or debilitation would like to take a note of that planet's dispositor for considering the neechabhanga yogas...etc. The BAV & SAV points in Ashtakvarga are only to be considered for knowing the transiting planet strength. Example : Consider Aries Lagna, currently Jupiter is transiting in Sagattarius, then if this 9H is having say only BAV 1 bindu or points then Jupiter may NOT give the results it is capable of. If the 9H has say BAV 5 bindus or more than Jupiter would provide good results. If the 9H has say more than average 28 SAV bindus, then Jupiter will give good results i.e. the dasha of Jupiter if placed in 9H would augur well for the native. Hope this would quench your thirst !! { especially after R.K. Dash-ing email earlier } With regards, sreeram srinivas , " jyothi_b_lakshmi " <jyothi_b_lakshmi wrote: > Dear Sreeramji, How do you check if the dasa lord is strong? Is it by checking if the dasa lord is in own or exalted sign? Or is it by checking the ashtavarga points in the sign of the planet? Guest guest
Dear Sreeramji, Thanks a lot. I expected the same reply. I was thinking just like Ashji has a theory that interprets positions in a different way, you all might be having a different way to check the strength of dasha lord.
