Guest guest
Dear All, We are all seekers of astrological wisdom - right? Why don't then we look at the analysis of Durga ji in the astrological perspective, trying to understand why and how she derived those results? That would be a better and fruitful way of learning I feel than the current discussions. 1) As an intro let us try to understand her knowledge background through her words itself: * She joined the group on Nov 22; The quiz was posted by me on 2:09 pm; She joined the group at 3:48 pm; She attempted the quiz at Nov 22, 2007 5:23 pm; So it seems that the time she spend on analyzing and replying the chart is hardly 1.30 hrs. A pretty good job within that minimum duration. Possible only if she is an excellent expert in chart analysis - a professional astrologer, well learned, a master of the subject. Or otherwise if only she know the facts before hand. There are only these 2 possibilities. Thus the doubts raised in the mind of some members is just natural. But being students of astrology, why don't look at her reading in an astrological perspective trying to understand on what premises it is founded? Will it not be a great crime if we are doubting a very good and sincere scholar? So let us take up the path of enquiry and study. Let us start by looking at the words she used - "occult matters like astrology , palmistry , tarot reading etc; believe in Mother Goddess or Virgin Mary; Krishnamurthy ayanamsh (newcomb's); par exellence but eccentric with out of the box thinking; flanked by malefics; nothing enigmatic abt me; I luv Ancient Indian sciences , Indology; worship of cosmic power; please confirm or negate these readings; interest in digging the past (call it history if u like it so)" - Don't you see a western mind or one well educated in western style use of language and mastery over the use of English reflected in her writing? Either a very scholar Indian well educated in western style, or a westerner thoroughly interested in Indian sciences can write like that - I believe. In any case the words reflect a vibrant and dynamic mind - a powerful, capable individual who already expressed her foot marks, and excelled in many fields. "very close to the degree that rises in the east; in the scientific sign of water bearer" - Don't you see her understanding about Greek astrology and western astrology here? She must be a master in many areas of ancient astrological wisdom. "lagan; vargottama; Vipareetha Rajayoga; dharma karmadhipa yoga; karak; maraksthan; dasa" - Don't you see that she is well versed in ancient indian astrology and also that she is NOT from kerala? (note the use of the word 'lagan') She is unlike anyone who is posting in this group - a unique personality in her own right. If you are not convinced I request you to look at some of the scriptures she refers to. After reading this note you tell me how many of you are aware of the references she make - I bet only a few will! 2) Some derivations and reference: ----------- * Many other features mentioned by me ,were neither confirmed nor denied by you, such as worship of cosmic power in the form of Mother Goddess (Moon, the female planet in female sign in 5th --Sage Bhrigu) Do you know what she is referring to? I bet you don't! If you have Brigu Sutra by sage brigu in your hand, take it and read the results for 'Moon in 5th house'. It reads - "Stree devata siddhiH, Bharaya roopavateee, kvachit kopavatee, stana madhye lanchanam bhavati.................Stri devatopasavan,.......Aneka budha prasadaiswarya sampannaH, sat karmakrit bhagya samriddhaH, raja yogee jnanavan" Note the derivation given in this quote that - the native would be a worshiper of mother goddess. And also that he would be interested in spirituality, yoga etc. * The mercury ,that is the 4th lord of education from the ascendant , from the the moon Lagan , is the 12th lord in the 8th, forming a Vipareetha Rajayoga in the scientific sign of water bearer and may mould the guy as a mathematician /philosopher/scientist par exellence but eccentric with out of the box thinking since mercury is in retrogression . Note the parameters she is considering. It is evident that Bhava chinta and Bhavat Bhava chinta is just kids play to her. Important quotes in Brihat Jataka, BPHS and similar classics would be readily available in mind to her! If Venus is in Lagna Brigu sutra starts the quote with "Ganita Sastra visaradaH" - Don't you see her mastery over the ancient astrological scriptures? Clearly her logic and derivations sprung from the through understanding of the scriptures and the combinations and methodology presented there in. The quotes in them must be ready present in her mind (she must have memorized them) - for ready access. How may of you can present such crisp, to the point, simple are clear reasoning, that too completely based on ancient astrological scriptures while deriving the results?! I bet - almost none! So before start doubting an individual at least have the ability to understand the knowledgeable! When the valuable is near by at least have the eyes to see what is valuable and what not! (or do you want to make her feel that she spread the peals before some one unworthy?) There is a saying - "Mitam cha saram cha vacho hi vagmita" (Short and essence ful use of words is the true symbol of a scholar) - Don't you see the same reflected in her words? Look how brief and to the point her analysis is - she is not at all wasting words, but still clearly provides the reasoning and logic behind her derivations - everything to the point - not more not less. * Note that her mail was typed in one go - and she didn't even bothered to spell check. She must be an individual leading a very busy life. * Note that she do not want to waste words or time - true id or false id - the individual is worth listening to. Know this as a fact - and try to learn. Hope this post would be helpful to some who is groping in darkness. Be patient and wait for her next post and in the mean while try to learn and understand from the successful reading she already provided. Note: I am also eager to know more about her. And I thankful for such a very knowledgeable individual appearing in our group, and participating in the discussions. I humbly request Durga ji to reveal more about her - and my thanks and regards to you. Hope this helps. Love, Sreenadh , "durga050" <durga050 wrote: Re: Blind chart reading - Quiz (Facts Revealed) Hai Sreenadhji, Namastae Thanks for revealing the facts. There is nothing enigmatic abt me. I luv Ancient Indian sciences , Indology and its subset like Jyotish.Joined your list ,saw the quiz and posted my analysis that I thought fits well for the planetary pic prevailing at the time of birth. Can you confirm whether this man had some published work in his name or did some research during his 20 year MD of Venus ? I believe he might have publshed some work or presented some papers becoz venus is lord of the 3rd of writings and 8th of research from Lagaan and is in the 9th of publishing from Moon Lagaan .Do confirm whether he is a prolific writer ?. Also whether he had a change of station during the MD of Sun , the lord of 6th of service placed in the 12th of new environment ? Many other features mentioned by me ,were neither confirmed nor denied by you, such as worship of cosmic power in the form of Mother Goddess (Moon, the female planet in female sign in 5th --Sage Bhrigu) , eccentricity (mercury in retrogression in a trika house) etc With warm wishes to all Durga , "durga050" <durga050 wrote: Re: Blind chart reading - A Quiz Hello , I am a new bie .Saw this quiz and thought I will attempt it. This guy could be deeply interested in occult matters like astrology , palmistry , tarot reading etc becoz venus, the 8th lord is very close to the degree that rises in the east and is in vargottama .Additionaly , he may be a controversial personality due to the same reason since 8th lord for controversies is exalted in lagan , may be his writings could land himself in the midst of controversy becoz venus is the 3rd lord of writing . The mercury ,that is the 4th lord of education from the ascendant , from the the moon Lagan , is the 12th lord in the 8th, forming a Vipareetha Rajayoga in the scientific sign of water bearer and may mould the guy as a mathematician /philosopher/scientist par exellence but eccentric with out of the box thinking since mercury is in retrogression . Mercury , the 4th lord of learning in the sign of saturn (past --history) he may develop interest in digging the past (call it history if u like it so) ..Alternatively , it may mean losing the first marriage since mercury the 7th lord is in 12th that signify loss. He may believe in Mother Goddess or Virgin Mary , (if he his a hindu/christian) since moon , the female planet is in the 5th house in its own sign . The dharma karmadhipa yoga of jupiter and saturn in the lunar asterism of Sun (government) may mean that his career has something to do with government Since moon , the karak of mind , is flanked by malefics , he may get irritated easily . A middle life span , between 36 -66 , could be expexted with moon & saturn , in their own sign .He may suffer from BP Using Krishnamurthy ayanamsh (newcomb's) he was in venus -mercury during the latter half ..He might have lost his mother or got seperated from his wife . In the first half of 1997, he was in venus-saturn . He might have met with an accident since saturn is aspected by mars the karak for accidents Rahu dasa may be critical being in a maraksthan from moon lagan. please confirm or negate these readings With warm wishes to all Durga , "Sreenadh" <sreesog wrote: > > Dear All, > Here is a chart to test our techniques - > DOB: 28.02.1961, 09:00 AM > Place of Birth: Kottayam, Kerala, India. > > Specific Question: How good is the longevity? especially concentrate > on the period first half of March 1997. Guest guest
i want to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Sreenadh for wonderfully executing this exercise. It was truly a great instrument to test the waters. The experience was indeed rewarding and I shall look forward to more such efforts to gain some understanding of this divine vidya. Kudos to Durgaji for her remarkable insight and understanding. It's our privilege to have her with us. I'm sure we'll have more such occasions to interact and learn from such learned members.
