Wrong: Statement Right/Wrong Made by He might have lost his mother or got separated from his wife (in march 1997) Wrong Durga First half of March 1997 - the person was very sick and went through a surgery. It could be a problem of the lever. Operation was successful. Wrong Krishna denial of marriage. Wrong Srinivas first quarter of 1997 strong possibility that he might have passed away. The native death possibly must have been sudden and instant death. Wrong Srinivas First half of march 2007 some thing related to marital affairs has happened this time . Wrong Raghavan during early March 1997 a separation in the marriage. During the first half of March 1997, the native either got divorced or the partner died. Wrong Sasi Bhushan (In March 1997, he might have either met with an accident) loosing an eye most probably right eye, and or might have lost his father. Wrong Sasi Bhushan he shall be seperated from his father and could have also lost his job in case he was a government employee due to his enemies Wrong Sasi Bhushan He might have been caught during exam and debarred from continuing due to rahu and ketu in the the fourth in D-24. Wrong Gopu during venus mahadasa he must have entered glamour world. Wrong Gopu (In March 1997) The whole scenario indicates a danger to life. I guess the person might have suffered a stroke, could be heart attack. There is extreme danger to life. The person might not have survived the stroke. Wrong Neelam Gupta the guy is spritual as well as super rich... one of these spritual celebrity like Ravi Shankar, Osho, Nirmala Wrong Jagdish Might have gone to himalayas or some isolated place for meditation and yoga. So any prediction about longevity is welcome. First half of March 1997. What happened? : A Car accident - head on Collision with Police Truck. Co-travelers got handicapped and the native escaped with scratches. The native returned after being in amnesia and unconscious for few hours. A near death life event. What about his job?: He is in government service as an engineer. Financial status or losses? : Financial status good - of course losses happened many times. Family life: Marriage in 1988. Family problem from 1989 -90 onwards. Later got separated from wife. But all these took place many years prior to 1997. Father and Mother of the native are still alive aged 83 and 81. Character?: Good, devoted, easily gets irritated, knowledgeable, spiritual, good education, visited many places - spiritual as well as other, popular, controversial. Interested in spirituality, occult, philosophy, maths and so on. Children?: 2 daughters. Elder daughter was born in Sep 1989. I will review the correct and wrong predictions given by participants in the coming mails - for better clarity. Important: The name of the native will not be revealed. The best and most accurate reading was given by an unexpected participant - Durga ji. I appreciate her excellent reading, and request her to reveal her identity and tell more about herself. Her reading is given below. There is only one mistake in the reading - the statement - "He might have lost his mother or got separated from his wife (in the later half of 1997)" - is wrong. All other statements excellent and accurate! I appreciate her ability to arrive at accurate results based on clear ancient astrological principles. Well done! ! Excellent! This guy could be deeply interested in occult matters like astrology , palmistry , tarot reading etc becoz venus, the 8th lord is very close to the degree that rises in the east and is in vargottama .Additionaly , he may be a controversial personality due to the same reason since 8th lord for controversies is exalted in lagan , may be his writings could land himself in the midst of controversy becoz venus is the 3rd lord of writing . The mercury ,that is the 4th lord of education from the ascendant , from the the moon Lagan , is the 12th lord in the 8th, forming a Vipareetha Rajayoga in the scientific sign of water bearer and may mould the guy as a mathematician /philosopher/scientist par exellence but eccentric with out of the box thinking since mercury is in retrogression . Mercury , the 4th lord of learning in the sign of saturn (past --history) he may develop interest in digging the past (call it history if u like it so) ..Alternatively , it may mean losing the first marriage since mercury the 7th lord is in 12th that signify loss. He may believe in Mother Goddess or Virgin Mary , (if he his a hindu/christian) since moon , the female planet is in the 5th house in its own sign . The dharma karmadhipa yoga of jupiter and saturn in the lunar asterism of Sun (government) may mean that his career has something to do with government Since moon , the karak of mind , is flanked by malefics , he may get irritated easily . Guest guest
Namaste Srinadh, Good exercise. Congratulations to Durgaji for good analysis and others who got a lot of traits correct. Now we must understand why we were wrong on certain aspects. Let me start with my two statements that were wrong 1. May have chronic health problems: The reason, 8th lord in lagna, and lagna lord debilited and with shani and aspect of mangal. Moon in papakaratari, but aspected by Guru a benefic and shani a malefic. It was wrong, can some one point to whythe native may not have health issues? 2. May have chanlleges in marriage and would have led to health problems: I thought mercury antara would give 7th house results, being 7th lord and 7th house indications are not too good. Seems like the native did have challenges in marriage but the marriage ended a lot earlier. I would like to know whehter anything traspire on 7th house matters in mercury antar dasha? 3. Exalted venus is lagna could give fair complexion and good looks. 4. Birth of 1st child , I can not see in the dasha in happened in venus-rahu.Any ideas why? .... > >
Guest guest
Dear Pandit ji, By requesting explanations as to why we were wrong, you are encouraging us to learn more. Good and thanks. I will try to explain, based on my little knowledge the birth of firtst child in September 1989. I may be wrong. If so kinldy correct me. Vimsottari Dasha: Ven/Rahu/Saturn 1. Venus: is exalted in lagna, navamsa and Saptamsa too. This Venus is in the nakshastra of Revati, the 5HL in Saptamsa. 2. This Venus is aspected by natural putra karaka and Jaimini putra karaka in this particular native, Jupiter. 3. Rahu: is aspected by Jupiter [double putra karaka as mentioned earlier] in birth horoscope - Jaimini aspect and in Saptamsa 5th aspect of Jupiter. 4. Saturn: aspects 5H of lagna chart and is in conjunction with natural PK, both in lagna and saptamsa charts. 5. Transit on September 1989: Saturn is placed in Saggitarius and Jupiter is placed in Gemini. Hence double transit affect of Saturn and Jupiter on Saptamsa lagna Aquarius and 5H of Saptamsa Gemini!!! Mars has just enteren Virgo. So even Mars has aspected Saptamsa lagna just a few days before child birth. [sri K. N. Rao's rule] 6. Finally, a girl: 5HL Moon is strong in 5H with 5AV points. Venus the alluring planet [which misguide men...I learn] is very strong in this native's chart. Of course let me add that this is only a post mortem. I failed to see this earlier and would have never seen too. blessings Renu , Panditji <navagraha wrote: > > Namaste Srinadh, > > Good exercise. Guest guest
Thanks Renuji, I looked at Saptamsha, I get meena as lagna saptamsha. I am never too sure about the TOB to make judgements based on lagna and houses vis a vis lagna of a division. I personally do not think there are houses in amshas. Although using 5HL in saptamsha may work for you I am not sure it is based on ancient jyotish principles. I know, I may be in the minority here in the age of divisional charts. I prefer to see whether I can read the chart from rashi and rashi alone, with chandra lagna of rashi as one more reference point. Navansha positions are important but for me not as a navansha chakra. May be your explanation for child birth in venus-rahu may be is ok. But for me I do not use houses in amshas so I need to find out why rahu anter dasha gave progeny. .... P.S. How can you be so sure of lagna of saptansha and use it as a chart/chakra? Won't it be erroneous if the lagna turns out to be different. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh, You spent a lot of time in making that Table. Lot of hard work to extract the information from all postings and to present them like that. I hope people will understand the efforts involved and the purpose of it. Remember that it is valuable time of your life - which you could have used for your learning - that you are using in teaching others. Your time won't go waste if you are in a good company of people who will appreciate the work without ego. Otherwise, you may end up using your days and health too. Take care, chandra hari , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > > Dear All, > If we review the readings provided by the various members, and if I > am asked to rank the readings, my choice would be as follows - > Frist : Durga ji > Second: Srinivas ji, Vinita ji (They got many points right, some > wrong) > Third: Raghavan ji, Renu ji (They got some points right and some > wrong) > But I appreciate all those who participated - in another exersise, > all the above may go completly worng and those who missed today make > totally accurate predictions - we will continue this exersise to improve > our skills. > There was some very correct statements and some wrong statements and > some wild imaginations. Guest guest
Dear Pandit ji, I appreciate your eagerness to find out the reasons for some of the derivations going wrong. It is the right path. But is of the opinion not to go for it at least for 2 or 3 similar exercises, because since we are new to these exercises, and general trend in groups (especially of gurus) is to come up with numerous explanations after safely keeping themselves away from such exercises. I suggest following the path shown by you - ONLY AFTER the trend of sincere appreciation and approach sets in our group. Let us hope that this exercise would be a TRENED SETTER. Success and Failure in our derivations are all just natural. We are all just learning to walk, learning from experience, and staring from the basics. Me or You or anyone else in this group CANNOT expect to have an unfailing status in prediction or getting things always right. Let us make our validations and verifications of the logical path we followed in deriving the results personal as of now - and we will make it a trend (of analyzing them), once we have progressed some more and created a common ground for analysis. Am I correct in providing such a suggestion? Please suggest and correct me if I am wrong. Love and regards, Sreenadh , Panditji <navagraha wrote: > > Namaste Srinadh, > > Good exercise. Guest guest
Dear Pandit ji, First of all I hope Sreenadh ji would not mind the post-mortem. I am doing this because Pandit ji has brought up the queries. I don't see anything wrong in that. Besides I would like to stress that I would not have succeeded in a prediction of child birth before the actual facts were revealed. Now let as consider Jaimini Chara Dahsa for the relevant child birth period: Cancer/Saggitarius/Taurus. Lagna: Pisces Karakamsha Lagna: pisces Hence 5H from both lagnas: Cancer 1.Major Rashi dahsa of 5H is running. 5HL is also placed in 5H. 2.5H from rashi dasha Cancer is Scorpio. This rashi is aspected by 5HL Moon and PK, Jupiter. [Jaimini aspects] 3.Sub rashi Saggitarius dasha lord Jupiter is Jaimini putra karaka. It aspects 5H and 5HL, Moon in Cancer. [i have read in Sri K. N. Rao's book, that both Jaimini and Parasara rules can be combined.] 4.Jupiter lord of Saggitarius also aspects 5H from major rashi dasha Cancer i.e. Scorpio 5. Sub -sub rashi dahsa Taurus is aspected by 5HL from Pisces lagna + major rashi dasha lord, Moon. 6. Taurus is aspected by sub rashi dasha lord + PK, Jupiter. 7. 5H from Sub-sub rashi dasha Taurus is Virgo which is aspected by Venus, the lord of Taurus. Hence one could conclude that the Chara rashi dashas and dasha lords got something to do with 5H, the child giving house. Once again, I request the learned members to correct me where I have gone wrong...Thanks blessings Renu
Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh, Thanks for revealing the answer and making this pains taking compilation. My hearty congratulations to Durga ji for the most accurate analysis. It only goes to show that it is much easier to make tall comments during post mortem analysis and it is extremely difficult to make a correct prediction. People can use any system they like. But, the result will only reflect the ability of the astrologer to adapt to that system and make correct prediction. I only hope that my prediction on longevity would come true, as one of the things I am deeply researching is longevity. It was very clear to me that the native is blessed with good longevity, though some of the indicators looked scary. But, they were only superficial. Of course, I made a mistake predicting the event during March 1997. With the aspect of Mars on Sat/Jup, it could have been surgery or accident. I opted for surgery because Moon was also aspecting Sat/Jup combo. Also, I felt the lever could be a problem area as Jup was debilitated and afflicted by both Sat. and Mars. It shows that I need to pay more attention while predicting. Thanks for this nice challenge. Regards, Krishna , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > > Dear All, > If we review the readings provided by the various members, and if I > am asked to rank the readings, my choice would be as follows - > Frist : Durga ji > Second: Srinivas ji, Vinita ji (They got many points right, some > wrong) > Third: Raghavan ji, Renu ji (They got some points right and some > wrong) > But I appreciate all those who participated - in another exersise, > all the above may go completly worng and those who missed today make > totally accurate predictions - we will continue this exersise to improve > our skills. > There was some very correct statements and some wrong statements and > some wild imaginations. Guest guest
Namaste Renuji, Thanks for the explanation. May be others who are experts in jaimini can comment on your analysis. As now we know the event, we can find the cause for it, however tenuous it may be. You did indicate and rightly so that you could not have predicted the event. My intention about asking the question was more to understand how one goes about in a systematic way the dashas potent for giving a certain event. I am not even looking for some unique events. Most people get married and have children. Can we, given a chart indicate which dashas are capable of giving the event, from the most likely planet to least likely planet. Again I do not want to go the SJC route( Sorry the use of the term) as with that approach every planet will qualify. Those who have participated in discussions on VA group and here may know what I am talking about. Vijaydas had a good point for the quiz chart, rahu has amsha in the 5th house. Now does it make him a strong contender? Or a contender? In the current chart we have can we say 1. Planet A,B,C are strong contenders to give marriage in its antar dasha? 2.lanet A,B,C can give progeny, etc. If we can limit this to two possibilities of planets in each category would not that be wonderful? Again if we introduce too many parameters you will find that every planet will qualify. Lets say marriage ? Who can give it, in a given chart? Can we have some methodology that can work in 70-80 percent of the cases? Again I am talking about events that happen in lives of majority of people. Thanks .... Guest guest
Namaste Ram, What you are suggesting is what gets us down a slippery slope. As you suggested occupants of 2, 7,11the planets aspecting those and their lords. In mnay cases that may cover all the 9 planets. There is a hierarchy and timing and this kind of methodology needs to be tested. ... Guest guest
Namaste Panditji Yes – maybe so interms of covering a number of Planets ….. But like I said it is the preponderance (ie number of times) of Planets that increase the possibility of the event fructifying in their periods …… Why don’t you try it on some of the Charts you may have with you?
