Let us see why – Moon is in Swati (which means Moon is between 184 degree 40 min and 198 degrees) – Means Moon cannot be in exaltation. It is Suklapaksha Shashti Tithi - This means that Moon has already crossed Sun, and the distance between Sun and Moon is between 60 degree to 72 degree. 198 – 60 = 138 degrees & 184 D 40 M - 72 D = 112 degrees. That means Sun must be somewhere between 112 degrees and 138 degrees. That means, either in Cancer or in Leo. Thus essentially Sun cannot be exalted! It is said that Lagna is Libra and birth in Mid-night! Before proceeding further itself we are struck! This is simply NOT possible. If Sun is in Cancer or Leo then, if Lagna is Libra, then it is certainly day time and NOT night! If the birth took place at night time, then the Lagna should be Aries or Taurus. Now it is said that 5 planets are exalted in the chart. We have already seen that Sun and Moon cannot be exalted if is Swati Nakshatra and Suklapaksha Shashti Tithi. The remaining choice is of Ma, Me, Ve, Ju & Sa. But When Sun is in Cancer of Leo, Venus cannot be in Pisces!! So we are left with only 4 planets – if we need one more we will be forced to consider Ra or Ke. Again it is said that the birth took place on the 5th day of Bhadrapada Month. Assume that Pounami was in Purva Bhadrapada. That means Sun was in Leo for sure! But if the month started when Moon was in Purva Bhadrapada and if at the time of birth Moon is in Swati, then it is possibly the 18th day of the month. But the quote states that "the birth took place on the 5th day of Bhadrapada Month"!! How can it be?!! If the birth is in the 5th day of Bhadrapada Month then definitely Moon should be in Bharani or Kartika and NOT in Swati! I am really confused! If what you quoted is right translation – Then definitely the chart is wrong. But if the translation is wrong – then it is another case.
