Guest guest
Dear Menbers, Earlier somebody requested information from Garga Samhita to compara with Ramayana. Here it is: Garga Samhita written by Garga, family priest of the Yadu Race. Garga Samhita, Vol. 2, Balabhadra-khanda, Chapter 5, (Birth of Balarama and Krsna) Qoute: " ...the seventh conception of Devaki was the one which could increase and decrease the grief and pleasure at the same time. Yogamaya carried it to Vjaja and established it in the womb of Rohini. Thereafter the people of Mathura said: " Where has the conception of Devaki disappeared? It is quite astonishing. " After five days in the month of Bhadrapada on the sixth moon day of the bright fortnight in the Svati constallation and wednesday at the mid of the night, in Tule-lagna, when five planets were lodged in the highest position, Rohini the wife of Vasudeva produced from her lustre, Balarama, who illuminated the intire palace of Nanda. [...] Thereafter at the dead of night from the 8th conception of Devaki, the perfect Lord Krsna incarnated. At the same time Yasoda, the queen og Nanda gave birth to a daughter who was none else than Yogamaya herself... " Very friendly, Finn Wandahl
