Guest guest
Hi friends, Am giving below the results of the lord of lagna in different houses as i perceive them to be.I may mention here that these notes have been prepared during my last 25 years of interaction with astrology after looking at more or less all the vedic astrology classics and summarising/modifying the results to suit present times:- 1.Lord of lagna in lagna:-The native is healthy, that is to say without sickness. He is handsome, long lived and very strong. He makes progress in life with his own efforts. He is happy, rich and lives a luxurious life.He is respected in the society and makes a name for his dynasty. He may receive land from the king.Such a native may marry twice or have intimate relations with some female other than his wife. 2.Lord of lagna in the second house:-The native gains in various ways.He is learned, proud and of religious conduct.May have contacts with many women. If the lord of the first house is in the second house in a shubha yoga the native will accumulate alot of money. If in an ashubha yoga the native will remain worried about money..The native will be long lived, fat, tall and a prominent officer of his town.Gets happiness from his family and eats delicious food.Is good at give and take.May be prominent in his dynasty. 3.Lord of lagna in third house:-The native is courageous like a lion.He is proud, rich, wise and happy. The native has good brothers and friends and gets happiness from them.If the lord of lagna is in the 3rd house in an ashubha yoga the native is dirty. However if aspected by a benefic the native is good at speech. The native is religious, charitable, generous, strong and brave. He is also of an independent disposition, devoted to his duty and of a military temperament. If the lord of lagna in the third is debilitated, the native developes contacts with women other than his wife.If the lord of lagna is venus the native will marry two women. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have lord of Lagna in the first house (Leo lagna with Sun just 1 deg. away from Lagna). I am healthy in general but I don't consider myself physically very strong. I have made progress in life with my own efforts. I am happy and contented, relatively rich as compared to the financial level of my parents. I did not receive any land from anyone so far. I am neither expecting anything form the Govt :-) I feel that I am leading a comfortable life, may not be a luxurious one. I am respected in the society and definitely brought name to my family going by the reaction of my near and dear. I am married since 23 years, no intimate relationship with any other woman. So, it looks like the indications are fairly well applicable in general and one should look at the rest of the horoscope for any modifications. Thought of sharing my case as a datapoint. Thanks, Krishna --- Rup Krishen Baqaya <baqayarup wrote: > Hi friends, Am giving below the results of the lord of lagna > in > different houses as i perceive them to be.I may mention here > that > these notes have been prepared during my last 25 years of > interaction > with astrology after looking at more or less all the vedic > astrology > classics and summarising/modifying the results to suit present > times:- > 1.Lord of lagna in lagna:-The native is healthy, that is to say > without > sickness. He is handsome, long lived and very strong. He makes > progress > in life with his own efforts. He is happy, rich and lives a > luxurious > life.He is respected in the society and makes a name for his > dynasty. He may receive land from the king.Such a native may > marry > twice or have intimate relations with some female other than > his wife. > 2.Lord of lagna in the second house:-The native gains in > various > ways.He is learned, proud and of religious conduct.May have > contacts > with many women. If the lord of the first house is in the > second house > in a shubha yoga the native will accumulate alot of money. If > in an > ashubha yoga the native will remain worried about money..The > native > will be long lived, fat, tall and a prominent officer of his > town.Gets > happiness from his family and eats delicious food.Is good at > give and > take.May be prominent in his dynasty. > 3.Lord of lagna in third house:-The native is courageous like > a > lion.He is proud, rich, wise and happy. The native has good > brothers and > friends and gets happiness from them.If the lord of lagna is > in the > 3rd house in an ashubha yoga the native is dirty. However if > aspected > by a benefic the native is good at speech. The native is > religious, charitable, generous, strong and brave. He is also of > an > independent disposition, devoted to his duty and of a military > temperament. If the lord of lagna in the third is > debilitated, the > native developes contacts with women other than his wife.If > the lord > of lagna is venus the native will marry two women. > To be contd > > ______________________________\ ____ Looking for a deal? Guest guest
You are absolutely right in your conclusion about astrological rules being applicable in generality only and the modifications to be seen from the whole horoscope. This is because no horoscope consists of one single planet only. However the results of a particular planet become more intense during its dasha. So u will find the rule relating to lagna lord being in lagna becoming more applicable to you if u ever pass through the dasha of Sun in your lifetime, subject of course to the general rule of kala, patra and desha.Like say the dasha of Sun comes to you at the age of 80,obviously you cannot be physically strong or have other women in your life at that age.Hope i have conveyed the thought. Guest guest
Dear Rajanikanth ji, The statement you quoted was given by Rup Krishen Baqaya ji. ==> " If the lord of lagna is in the 3rd house in an ashubha yoga the native is dirty. However if aspected by a benefic the native is good at speech " <== He is absolutely right regarding the logic of that statement and the opinion of sages regarding the same. Reasons : -------- * 3rd house is the house signifying communication. * 3rd house is the Dhana stana (House of wealth; increasing the assets of 2nd house) of 2nd house. * 3rd house is an Upachaya (increase) house, indicating the increase of capabilities of Lagna; and arguably of 2nd House as well. * A benefic aspecting 3rd thus increase improves not only the results of 3nd, but also 2rd. Thus the conclusion - improvement of not only communication, but also speech capabilities. * 3rd is the house of Crooked intelligence. That is why the statement 'malefic aspect in 3rd makes the native dirty'. Of course with out a second though you can add, that the native would be much efficient in using his crooked intelligence and also that especially while angry efficiently start using sharp bad words. Hope you see the logical reasons for the derivation given by Krishen Ji. The derivations he provides are real scholarly - and much valid. Love, Sreenadh RE: Re: Results of lagna lord in different houses. Dear Sunil ji & Srinadh ji Thank you very much for those encouraging mails. Guest guest
Dear Krishna ji, I hope you will fairly agree with these derivations as well - " Lagna lord in lagna usually bestow good results. The native would be healthy, courageous and kind hearted. All the well-beings would be enjoyed by him, including women and life abroad. He may have 2 wives or one wife and a strong extra marital relation, but the same will not cause any trouble in his life. He would be wealthy and will enjoy good longevity. Possibly he might have taken birth in a well to do family. Throughout his life he will have a wealthy and happy life as well. Hereditarily he will have good amount of land property, or will gain good amount of land property in his life " . Let me know your response on this as well. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh, In general, I consider myself blessed as compared to other people in the close family cirlce. I am kind hearted but I don't know if I am courageous. I might have not come across such a situation that tested that side of my character. One thing for sure is that I don't take things lying low. I did stay abroad a few years (in Switzerland). I have studied my chart and it indicates good longevity. Almost everything I have today is earned by self effort. I have built my own house and invested in a couple of plots (one of which I gifted to my elder daughter after her marriage). The indications don't match are: - I did not inherit much: My fater was a Govt. employee and a God fearing person who did not stretch his hand for any bribery. Hence, no lands or property. Even my Grandfather was like that who was also a pious Govt. employee. Hence, my father too did not inherit anything worthwhile. Of course, I got good education thanks to my father who managed those expenses with some difficulty. - No second lady in my life: Not even during college days. I am already 49 now and I don't expect to fall into a new relationship later in life. I am happily married for the past 23 years. Guest guest
Respected Members, I have a small query on this. Lagna lord in lagna would result in Mahapurusha Yoga which ofcourse if a fortunate combination to have. Given the general significations of lagna lord being well placed in the first would it be necessary to study the Navamsha too? Would the result be different if say the lagna lord gets debilitated in Navamsha? Is the placement of sun also important? Your inputs will be very helpful. Guest guest
Dear Sripati ji, Definitely the Navamsa, Aspect of other planets etc can " Modify " the result; But " Nothing gets cancelled " ; It is wrong to say that some thing will get cancelled due to something else in astrology. Because of this - we can definitely predict based on Houses alone as well. Learning to do independent derivation based on each method of 7-fold system is the first step in mastering astrology. And the real masters know how to emphasis things based on repeated results derived. And the fakes know how to blab and make a Kichadi of everything without knowing the bases. Currently we are trying to learn the technique of 7-fold result derivation based on houses alone. It is a systematic learning process, and therefore other things (such as Navamsa, planets, signs etc) does not comes into consideration at all. As you rightly mentioned - * Lagna lord in Lagna would result in a Mahapurusha yoga; and going to the details of it will help us to derive more results. But not that for doing this " we have to consider PLANETS as well; and by doing so we would be deviating from the current strategy of deriving results based on houses alone " . It is due to this clear understanding that Mahapurusha yogas are not even mentioned in this discussion. Note: Know the pre-defined borders of the current discussion and the context. Such doubts will easily melt off. Love, Sreenadh , Sreepathi Tantri K <mailsreeps wrote: > > Respected Members, > > I have a small query on this. Guest guest
Dear Krishnamurthy Seetharamaji What do you agree to is a mystery as Shreenadh's mail is an empty one. Please enlighten unless it is a privileged communication between him and you. Secondly your assumption that most Govt employees are bribe seekers or else are very poor is not true. I am myself a Govt servant and am as pious as pious could be. Not a whiff of even thought of wrong means ever enter in my system. And by God's grace I have been sufficiently provided for. Guest guest
Dear Dwivedi Ji, Looks like you have mis-understood my mail. I never said that all Govt. emploees are corrupt. In fact I gave two examples (my father and my grand father who are not corrupt). And, I did not say that only these two are not corrupt in the whole Govt. service and rest are corrupt. What I meant was that though there was an opportunity for being corrupt, they did not take that path. Now, you are adding that you are also not corrupt. Good. But, it would be wrong on my part to extrapolate and say that all Govt. employees except you are corrupt based on your claim. Hope you understood my point. Next, about my agreement to Sreenadh: 1. The explanation said that one will inherit landed property OR will earn by own means. Earlier I had not paid attention to the OR part. After Sreenadh pointed it out I agreed to him. 2. Regarding his explanation about 2 wives based on olden times and current context. Anyone who understands simple english will understand it. I don't think I need to explain it. Please restrain yourself and don't drag people into unnecessary controversy. This is my request to you. I am here to learn and not spend my time writing mails like these.
