Dear friends,

Namaskar!

Just take any Panchanga/jantri/epehemris published by

anybody. You will find all these panchangas, including the Rashtriya

Panchanga,declaring unequivocally that Sharat Ritu started on August 23, 2007.

 

Obviously, the first New Moon i.e. Shukla Pratipat,

that follows it is the start of Sharadiya Navratra! And that happens on

Wednesday, September 12, 2007.

 

You do not have to be an Astronomer Royal or even a

Maha-Pandit to have that much of an elementary knowledge!
