Guest guest
"Relocated birth charts include the subtleties in an area, which Astrocartography does not include. Treasure maps focus on certain areas of life: 1)love and romance, 2)career, 3)community, 4)spirituality, 5) instability, 6)communication, 7) Creativity, 8) Opportunity and 9)Responsibility. By exploring parans (planetary crossings), local space and temporary Cyclocartography lines you can add more information to your personal picture." If this is true and I would appreciate some feedback on the above, than I, who migrated to NYC from Cuba the year I was born, would have to re-evaluate my chart? Any in put would be appreciated. Also, is there any one who can tell me why I have such a difficult time with people born in Scorpio. You would think that since we both water signs, we would not. I mean LIFE CHALLENGES encounters, life changing encounters. And believe me that is not an over-statement.
Guest guest
Dear Alishaya ji, It sounds like a quarrel between Astrocartography and Cyclocartography; both western astrological concepts. Both these concepts are not part of ancient indian astrology. ================================================ For those who don't know what these terms mean I am quoting the def. Astrocartography =============== Astrocartography (called " Astrogeography " in Europe in earlier years) is one of several methods of Locational Astrology, which purports to identify varying life conditions through differences in location. Developed and popularized by American astrologer Jim Lewis (1941- 1995), astrocartography/astrogeography is a locational astrology system that focuses on elements of the relocated natal chart, with these factors indicated on a world map such as the " Astro*Carto*graphy map. " Lewis' Astro*Carto*Graphy maps show all locations on the earth where planets were " Angular " (rising, setting, upper transit, lower transit) at the moment of a person's birth. An " angular " planet is basically one sitting in a conjunction with the starting house cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses, called the " angular houses. " With Astrocartography, lines drawn on a world map show where these factors occur for an individual through relocation. - wikipedia Cyclocartography ================ Cyclocartography Maps: Cyclocartography maps show temporary Astrocartography lines based on transitory cyles. These cycles can last 6 months and longer. Although they are not permanent they can play an important role with such situations such as planning a trip, going to school or being temporarily transferrred to a job western astrologers say. Transits are the actual movement of planets moment to moment. Secondary progressions involve a technique " a day for a year. " It is common practice in Cyclocartography to use personal planets Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars through the use of secondary progressions. The slower outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are used through actual transits. ================================================ To be frank nothing special went into my head except the fact that they are drawing everying on the map and that it has nothing to do with ancient indian astrology. By the way, which signs you are talking about? Sun signs, Moon signs or Asc? Scorpio is a water sign?!! I think as per Indian astrology it is not. Which is your sign? (I mean which is your Asc?) And the most important question - Are you trying to promote 'Cyclocartography' (what a name!) in this group or is it a genuine question? Guest guest
Blessings Sreenadh Astrology has always fascinated me but it is a new learning experience. To answer your question, it was a genuine question. I am not trying to promote anything, except perhaps my learning.:-) Since I don't know a lot about the subject on hand, I will tell you I was born on 3/4/52 10:10 AM Havana, Cuba. According to Western Astrology my sun is in Pisces, my moon is in Gemini and my ascendant is Taurus. Live to serve & serve to live,
Guest guest
Dear Alishaya, As per indian astrology, your Asc is Aries, Moon is in Jemini and Sun in Aquarious. Scorpio is 8th (house of death and longevity) from Asc, and 6th (house signifying wounds, enmity etc) from Moon. There for it is just natural that you have difficulty with people born in with Asc, Moon or Sun in Scorpio. The quotes goes like this - " Shashtashtame marna vaira virodha dosha " meaning, if the Asc, Moon sign etc are in 1-8, or 1-6 axis death, enmity, separation etc will result. Hope this helps.
