Dear Sunil,

> 1) There is method which is still in experiment stage by which

the 'Starting Letter' (akshara) of a persons name can be predicted

but the method cannot predict the full name - this is pure astrology

method.

<==

I already have a collection of around 10 methods which try to

predict the first letter of the querent or native. I have a

collection of methods which try to predict the number of letters in

the name of the person. I also have an elaborate document which try

to predict the full name of the document. All these methods as you

can see are in experimental stage. ;) As anytime anybody can say as

everybody is experimenting with them. :)

But apart from having this collection, I found none of them enough

dependable, or something that directs us enough close to the truth.

Of course Some of Bhattolpala's quotes are valuable (which is the

only document I found which deals with the subject in an elaborate

way using more than 36 slokas) it is not enough to arrive at a

dependable result.

No, I am not speaking about " Gayatri Shastra " or " Rudrabhatyiyam " . I

am speaking about the book bhattolpala quoted while commenting on

Brihat Samhita. He never quotes this much slokas (36!) from any other

text together, while discussing about the subject.

One should better be able to at least predict some of the life

events of the native correctly, or his body features or diseases that

are troubling him, life circumstances, things or items in the world

around him and is closely associated with him etc. This can better be

useful to the native and convince him, rather than spending hours in

calculating the first letter. Of course if there is perfect and

correct method that is available which can be computerized (to

calculate the first name or the full name of the native), then it

could be much useful, since that could clarify the authority and

truth of astrology objectively. But sincerely I don't any such method

around. But of course there are a host of methods available.

Note: The same is true about " Deciphering the sex of the native from

the natal chart " . If such a method can be objectively done by a

computer program and give correct results, then the authenticity of

astrology will be greatly emphasized. But when I posted the same here

in this group, and requested astrologers to share there views on the

same (I have a collection of methods for doing the same as well)

every body was hesitant, and ran away from the subject. :)

Sreenadh

of a person who was using a pen name called Soul Sadhak so her real

This method was also used to predict akshara with success of the

relatives of someone called Sundeep who writes by the name of

astrosundeep if i remember well on the or rather ex-

group of KNRao

an old book called Gayatri Shastra which i always wanted back but

could not get that page again as i wanted to photocopy it, it said

very clearly that 'An Astrologer who cannot predict the name of the

persons spouse and the name of the town where he/she would come from

is not an astrologer' - I know this is harsh and would not go down

well with many here, but I have felt this is the truth, have thought

about it very deeply, it makes perfect sense.

>

who said what is the use of predicting even the starting akshara of

someone, he already knows his or her name and it would just be

showing off ones predictive ability (which is what today astrology

has become sadly) but i have dwelled far deeper into this aspect

since the last one year and have realised that there is lot more that

can be achieved by knowing the persons names etc, it is much more

than what catches the eye u would agree maybe.

Om Datta GuruDear Sreenadh,My reply below in blue===>

I already have a collection of around 10 methods which try to

predict the first letter of the querent or native. I have a

collection of methods which try to predict the number of letters in

the name of the person. I also have an elaborate document which try

to predict the full name of the document. All these methods as you

can see are in experimental stage. ;) As anytime anybody can say as

everybody is experimenting with them. :)<====SJ: I do not see any relevance to compare methods since I do not know the 10 methods that u have nor do u know the method thatis at experimentative stage, even if both were the same methods it is how an Individual uses the method that determines the efficacy of the methodE.g the way KNRao uses his own version of Chara Dasa nobody else can use the same dasa to predict the way KN Rao uses, i am talking of the same tool, ofcourse all can say that KNRao has not revealed his methodology completely. Even in the same vimshottari dasa simple methods within in, 2 astrologers can use it differently and arrive at different conclusions. :) The question always arises in mind is what an astrologer is able to do with whatever truity fruity techniques that he has recd at hand and whether he has been able to take that method to perfection, thats the effort our breed of astro

students should put in. ====>

One should better be able to at least predict some of the life

events of the native correctly, or his body features or diseases that

are troubling him, life circumstances, things or items in the world

around him and is closely associated with him etc. This can better be

useful to the native and convince him, rather than spending hours in

calculating the first letter.<=====SJ: I was not expecting this reply from you :) since I thought u would have thought about it deeply as u possess shlokas, though when i had embarked on this journey of name finding I had just a bizarre idea. Anyways in point 6 i had written that there is more to meet the eye here in terms of its use and most astrologers would laugh way on even the idea of predicting the name or starting akshara. I had written a point 7 in the previous mail which i deleted it is reproduced below as to in a larger format1) In Bombay for e.g within the span of a lagna (say 2 or 2.5 hrs) hundreds of people would be born so do they have the same destiny in terms of the Rasi chart (natal chart), even with a Shastiamsa division spaning 2 mins roughly still many are born, best case is twins, but how is it that planets which give us so many minute details, do not give us that SPECIFIC NAME which

creates our Identity. How is it that characters like James Bond, John Maclane (Die Hard series) , Rocky (Rocky Balboa - Stallone) become immortal, their names become immortal. Twins get two different names why. 2) When I had approached the old Maharastrian astrologer with the chart of George Bush and said to him that i had failed in my predictions and people say it is wrong chart (at that time most astrologers on the lists said they failed since they were using his wrong chart) . He saw the chart and I know he picked up a divisional, he worked hard, drew diagrams and said did this man had a younger sister with starting name akshara of R or Ru who is dead. I immediately replied that i do not think so since I felt he only had a brother who is from Texas or something. He said i should check and get back, i felt if it was so i would have known no need to check as i had watched documentary of on George Bush. It was few months later i came across the wikepedia site

wherein it was mentioned that he had a ytounger sister by the name of Robin or something who died due to blood cancer.I was stunned since i remembered the words of the astrologer that the chart would be 100% correct if he had a younger sister by the name akshara of R or Ru (which when pronounced sounds like Ro for Robin). So I feel & know very well that to predict all that u have rightly said we need correct chart & to get correct chart this name akshara can be a correct tool & cannot be dismissed so easily. Seniors always repeat It is only when we do not know what astrology is capable of we dismiss it as something frivolous. To put more thought to our minds, we all know when a person goes for job interviews he is always in dilemma to know what salary expectation he should quote, whether it would be high or low or would he be rejected for quoting too high or even for quoting too low. For yrs everyone wanted an answer on what would be his

salary in so and so dasa, is it possible to predict that, ofcourse we all know it is possible since past Famous astrologer has proved that with his method but then today we are all silent on this as astro students since we do not know how to predict salary and so we say no such method exists or Can Exist. Dear Sunil,

==>

> 1) There is method which is still in experiment stage by which

the 'Starting Letter' (akshara) of a persons name can be predicted

but the method cannot predict the full name - this is pure astrology

method.

<==

Of course Some of Bhattolpala' s quotes are valuable (which is the

only document I found which deals with the subject in an elaborate

way using more than 36 slokas) it is not enough to arrive at a

dependable result.

No, I am not speaking about "Gayatri Shastra" or "Rudrabhatyiyam" . I

am speaking about the book bhattolpala quoted while commenting on

Note: The same is true about "Deciphering the sex of the native from

the natal chart".

This method was also used to predict akshara with success of the

an old book called Gayatri Shastra which i always wanted back but

persons spouse and the name of the town where he/she would come from

is not an astrologer' - I know this is harsh and would not go down

well with many here, but I have felt this is the truth, have thought

about it very deeply, it makes perfect sense.

since the last one year and have realised that there is lot more that

can be achieved by knowing the persons names etc, it is much more

than what catches the eye u would agree maybe.

Dear Sunil,

Finding the name of the native is YOUR quest (and not mine). :) So

you should follow it (and not me). All the best in your research

after the name of the native. We expect to see the results of your

efforts soon (as a well prepared document, elaborating the methods).

I am already engaged in something else (as you know), and there is

plenty of work in the field of astrology for everybody to put their

effort into. We are expecting the results of your efforts as well.

Love,

Sreenadh

methodology completely. Even in the same vimshottari dasa simple

methods within in, 2 astrologers can use it differently and arrive at

different conclusions. :) The question always arises in mind is what

an astrologer is able to do with whatever truity fruity techniques

that he has recd at hand and whether he has been able to take that

method to perfection, thats the effort our breed of astro students

should put in.

would have thought about it deeply as u possess shlokas, though when

i had embarked on this journey of name finding I had just a bizarre

idea. Anyways in point 6 i had written that there is more to meet the

eye here in terms of its use and most astrologers would laugh way on

even the idea of predicting the name or starting akshara. I had

written a point 7 in the previous mail which i deleted it is

reproduced below as to in a larger format

>

> 1) In Bombay for e.g within the span of a lagna (say 2 or 2.5 hrs)

hundreds of people would be born so do they have the same destiny in

terms of the Rasi chart (natal chart), even with a Shastiamsa

division spaning 2 mins roughly still many are born, best case is

twins, but how is it that planets which give us so many minute

details, do not give us that SPECIFIC NAME which creates our

Identity. How is it that characters like James Bond, John Maclane

(Die Hard series) , Rocky (Rocky Balboa - Stallone) become immortal,

their names become immortal. Twins get two different names why.

>

> 2) When I had approached the old Maharastrian astrologer with the

chart of George Bush and said to him that i had failed in my

predictions and people say it is wrong chart (at that time most

astrologers on the lists said they failed since they were using his

wrong chart) . He saw the chart and I know he picked up a divisional,

he worked hard, drew diagrams and said did this man had a younger

sister with starting name akshara of R or Ru who is dead. I

immediately replied that i do not think so since I felt he only had a

brother who is from Texas or something. He said i should check and

get back, i felt if it was so i would have known no need to check as

i had watched documentary of on George Bush. It was few months later

i came across the wikepedia site wherein it was mentioned that he had

a ytounger sister by the name of Robin or something who died due to

blood cancer.

>

> I was stunned since i remembered the words of the astrologer that

the chart would be 100% correct if he had a younger sister by the

name akshara of R or Ru (which when pronounced sounds like Ro for

Robin).

>

> So I feel & know very well that to predict all that u have rightly

said we need correct chart & to get correct chart this name akshara

can be a correct tool & cannot be dismissed so easily. Seniors always

repeat It is only when we do not know what astrology is capable of we

dismiss it as something frivolous.

>

> To put more thought to our minds, we all know when a person goes

for job interviews he is always in dilemma to know what salary

expectation he should quote, whether it would be high or low or would

he be rejected for quoting too high or even for quoting too low. For

yrs everyone wanted an answer on what would be his salary in so and

so dasa, is it possible to predict that, ofcourse we all know it is

possible since past Famous astrologer has proved that with his method

but then today we are all silent on this as astro students since we

do not know how to predict salary and so we say no such method exists

or Can Exist.

Om Datta GuruDear Sreenadh,I do not think so I was asking u to find the name of a native, & make it YOUR quest. We were just discussing a) Possibility of whether a technique existsb) & then u took it if that method has any use to the humanity.Only when we put some thought to a method, we would realise that being dogmatic does not help. Let me repeat and expand The issue is how the names can be used to correct or rectify the chart & most important can it be used in other things like predict the name of the wife, the name of the company one would join in a particular antar. How is this useful imagine a person not having a job for 2 yrs, what is the guidance this method can give, it can give him few alternatives like few letters and he can start applying to those companies

whose names start with those letters. Astrology can help this way. (Btw I have seen this technique work)But ofcourse i always believe knowledge can only come when we students open up and remove our preconceived notions. What use is sharing a document or preparing something when our minds are closed or limited, we usually jump to defend, disapprove of something if its not in the books or if it is out of the box. I had asked this same question to the astrologer of whom i wrote before, requesting him to share the method which i would translate into english. The old man replied in marathi that there is no use, nobody wants to learn Jyotish in kaliyuga students are only fakes who want to be instant gurus, Fast Food Fame and make instant money. I have often seen this line of his working. When i persuaded more, he said we have not understood BPHS Chapter 1 Shloka 5-8 (writing from memory here on shloka number). He asked me to read those shlokas thousand times if i

did not get the real meaning of it.I am sure i have answered ur mail. :)With LoveSunil Regards,Sunil John Sreenadh <sreesog Sent: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 9:57:51 AMSubject:

Re: Name of family members/Gayatri Shastra

Love,

Sreenadh

can use the same dasa to predict the way KN Rao uses, i am talking of

the same tool, ofcourse all can say that KNRao has not revealed his

methodology completely.

>

>

>

>

>

Dear Friend,

Understand the truth - astrology is now in a messy state, and we

don't have clear cut, trustworthy methods even to say whether it is a

boy or girl from the horoscope. Be sincere in accepting it.

From any sincere student of astrology, the next step is to start an

effort to clear this mess which starts from the basics. Hitting at

the leaves, while even the basics are not clear will not help in

anything. Therefore as a humble student of astrology I am after that

and not interested in other things much. But of course I always

appreciate the efforts of others - as a single or two individuals

effort is not going to be enough to clear this mess.

So please continue your effort. And if will to take my advice, start

from the basics without prejudice, instead of running after the

leaves.

Love,

Sreenadh

how the names can be used to correct or rectify the chart & most

important can it be used in other things like predict the name of the

wife, the name of the company one would join in a particular antar.

what is the guidance this method can give, it can give him few

alternatives like few letters and he can start applying to those

this way. (Btw I have seen this technique work)

students open up and remove our preconceived notions. What use is

sharing a document or preparing something when our minds are closed

or limited, we usually jump to defend, disapprove of something if its

not in the books or if it is out of the box. I had asked this same

question to the astrologer of whom i wrote before, requesting him to

share the method which i would translate into english. The old man

replied in marathi that there is no use, nobody wants to learn

Jyotish in kaliyuga students are only fakes who want to be instant

gurus, Fast Food Fame and make instant money. I have often seen this

line of his working.

Om Datta GuruDear Sreenadh,I agree with you, I had written about it long back on PVRs list that astrologers on LISTS cant even say if its a boy or girls horoscope what can they say about the future but still you have all kinds of astrologers going into all kinds of detailed astro methods. I cannot judge them or tell them what their path is. Judging them or giving advice to anyone would be ridiculous & I cant make an often FAKE statement on lists that 'I am a humble student'Infact I feel before we even go down to a planet in various houses first we must understand what EACH Planet is, and it can take lifetimes to even understand what ONE SINGLE PLANET is in its Entirety. I have never found any astrologer capable of having deep knowledge on just the planet forget the next step of houses etc.

Understand this truth. Be sincere in accepting it.

For any sincere student of astrology, the next step is to start an effort to clear this mess which starts from the basics. My advice is first good books should come out Planets then houses, houses are like leaves.

So please continue your effort. And if will to take my advice, start from the basics without prejudice, instead of running after the leaves. Ofcourse Just for information of others there are astrologers who can predict if its a girl or boys chart, in seconds if the native of the chart is alive or dead and thats the reason they are called ASTROLOGERS n the lines outside their house never stops. Regards,Sunil John Sreenadh <sreesog Sent: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 1:04:17 PM Re: Name of family members/Gayatri Shastra

And if will to take my advice, start

from the basics without prejudice, instead of running after the

leaves.

Love,

Sreenadh

how the names can be used to correct or rectify the chart & most

important can it be used in other things like predict the name of the

what is the guidance this method can give, it can give him few

alternatives like few letters and he can start applying to those
