Exaltion of sun in 8th is only possible in virgo lagna as lord of 12th house. Here the dusthana lord becomes stronger with VRY. What implications for 12th and 8th house . Guest guest
Dear Tarun ji, They are yet to be written. I will share them, as they are ready. I have uploaded a file on " Sun in Various Signs " as well (which currently deals with 'Sun in Aries' only). Actually all these are part of a book, which I writing just now. I have decided to discuss sun alone in this book (due to the vastness of the subject). It will have 3 major chapters. 1) Sun in Various Houses 2) Sun in Various Signs 3) Significance of Sun (Derivation and classification) So please be patient, as all this effort is going to take some time. After finishing the book on sun, I will take up each of the other planet and will write about them. While the books are getting ready occasionally you will get a taste of the same in this group as well. Guest guest
Dear Swati, Lords of 6-8-12 mostly signifies bad things. They cause much destruction to the house in which they are placed. It is better, if they are sitting in 6-8-12 itself. In this situation we will expect their bad effects to decrease a bit in general. Similarly if they are strong, that also is good, there bad effects will decrease further, in general. (These are mere general rules, which one shouldn't depend too much). All these prompts us to expect that if 12th lord is placed in 8th and is exalted, it should most probably give some good results (or at least less harm). Here the 12th lord under scrutiny is sun. Thus the lagna is Virgo, 12th lord is Sun and it is placed in Aries. Apart from the general results predicted for Sun in 8th what should we predict for this special combination? As per the dictum - " [if sun is in 8th house and is placed in its sign of exaltation (Aries) then, (at the end of life) the native will have a good peaceful death (He will have much longevity] " Those are the words of Sage Garga; and he will never say something without base and logic. So let us look into this. Eight house signifies a place were a community or group of people worship god. It could be a monastery or a community worship place, or could be even an Ashram. Sun and 12th house, signifies spirituality. 12th is liberation from the body, that is death. When all these unite (due to cumulative significance), the death should take place of special importance, like an Ashram. Of course it would be peaceful, since it is a liberation of the soul from the bindings, rather the end of an unsatisfied, unfinished life. It is not moksha or Samadhi, but instead a quit, peaceful death. After completing all the 4 stages of life Studentship (Brahmacharya), Family life with wife and children (Garhastya), Search of God (Vana parsta: Regular visit of Monastery or Ashram, Fire worship, reading revered texts etc), and at the end when almost into total spirituality (Sanyasa) the total liberation from body (death) encountered. It would be accepted peacefully. This is what I feel about Sun, 12th lord for Virgo lagna, exalted in Aries the 8th house from Lagna. Please provide your feed back on the same. Please clarify and convey the actual results, if you know of some one with a similar chart. Guest guest
Hare Rama KrsnaDear Sreenadhji , Pranam Well i didnt understand why is the 8th the " community place of collective worship or ashram.: As this is the most deep hidden and treasured bhava, it should be a pursuit of the most isolated. i see 8th as the mystic house where only few will venture, yet it is the abyss where u can find connections to unknown and become integrated with the whole. 12th is the surface skin of this very deep ocean from where springs the individual selfs or wavelets of the world (lagna). The 12th house is all all about healing and rejuvination by sleep, meditiation, dreams or in hospitals, by displacing concept of space and time and letting urself flow. ( foreign lands today) The dharma of 12th is to provide nourishment from 8th, which comes in the 4th house (kendra house), in form of mother earth and womb. (mother and land) it is the lagna which sustains 12th to be percieved, while it is the 12th which is spring board to lagna. so in simple terms lord of 12th in 8th , should lead to surface waves going deep within the ocean. How this 12th lord nurtures the lagna lord, may depend on naisargika sambhandha. Since sun is friend to mercury and is exalted in 8th , may help more in the digging of resources of life, by Suns brilliance of light ! May lead one to be more meditative and living disconnected from the earthly world. what say..Now coming to experiences , well i have Sun in 8th with virgo lagna. i dont know about my longetivity in concept of time. as for experiences i have high level of pitta-vatta in my body . I have little eyesight problem, and had many accidents within and close to eye and corneal infections as well in right eye. This also may be attributed to 2nd lord venus placed in dushthna 6th, with saturn and rahu in 12th . may be sun is saving and protecting it as it is exalted .Who knows! Also not to forget, recently on Shivratri night , i had a wonderful dream of Lord Shiva , and got up chanting " Jai Bhole Shankara.'. My sun is exalted in 10 of the D-charts (uchchaisvara sthan in shodasavargas). Let me know ur views on it . Guest guest
Dear Swati, As per dictum 8th house signifies 'Math' (A place where budhist monks are present, or a place where one who took deeksha for upasana is living and people are coming for prayer etc). That is why I mentioned, it as " community place of collective worship or ashram " . Similarly as per dictum 1-5-8 houses signify " Sannidhya " (Presence of devine). Thus ofcourse 8th can signify spirituality and dedicated upasana (taking deeksha from guru and continueing the worship method). But the presence is a bit psychic as you could see. It is fall or push of emotion rather than a balenced act. As far as moksha (gain of ultimate freedom: at the time of death) etc is concerned, the combination related to 8-12 as per dictum is the presence of exalted Ju in 8 or 12 at the time of birth or death. Exalted 12th lord Sun in 8th is not the combination for the same. Experiene: >>i have Sun in 8th with virgo lagna Dear don't use own horoscope for study of astrology. That makes us emotional and sensitive to the comments made. But still it also has the positive effect that we know much details about that horoscope. ==> > Now coming to experiences , well i have Sun in 8th with virgo > lagna. i dont know about my longetivity in concept of time. as for > experiences i have high level of pitta-vatta in my body . > I have little eyesight problem, and had many accidents within and > close to eye and corneal infections as well in right eye. <== You have good longivity as indicated hy exalted sun in 8th don't worry. Pitta-Vata should be attributed to lagna lord, Mercury. Now coming to eyesight problem - * 12th lord in 8th signifies eye sight problem. (left eye) * Saturn and Rahu in 12th signifies eye sight problem (left eye) * 2 nd lord in 6th signifies eye sight problem. (right eye) * Sun in 8th aspecting 2nd house signififies eye sight problem (right eye ) * Sun in Aries signifies " Timira " ('Cateract' or corneal infections) and thus helps us in pin pointing the eye sight problem. (right eye) Thus it is clearly indicated that the native will have eye sight problems caused by 'Cateract' or 'corneal infections' especially to the right eye. ==> > Also not to forget, recently on Shivratri night , i had a wonderful > dream of Lord Shiva , and got up chanting " Jai Bhole Shankara.'. <== Good to know about your spiritual experiences. Danscing siva is obsession to all of us, let the divine bliss be with us all. Note: But don't forget that, if sun is in 8th the native will have family life and children.
