Dear Kannan ji,

Let us start from the shallow waters (basics). Today let us learn

about the 'Yugadi' division of signs. The signs are classified into

Krita, Treta, Dwapara, Kali. For eg:

Ar, Le, Sg - Krita Youga Signs

Ta, Vi, Cp - Treta Yuga signs

Ge, Li, Aq - Dwapara Yuga signs

Cn, Sc, Pi - Kali Yuga signs

Now we know that this kind of a division exists. But what is the use

of it? How can we catch a fish with it or from it? ;) Actually the

author of Presnamarga had already caught a very good fish using it

and so I just have to present it to your plate after properly baking

it. :) The sloka goes like this-

Yajjananam Kritayugabhe daiva niyogatyupetya sakala janaH

dhanamasmai dadyu,radha tretayam artha labdhiratanena,

Dwaparake sweeya dhana vyaparal, kali yugabhe na kenapi

Evam phalada vihagaH krita purva yugabhidhana rasigetaH

swa dasapahriti prabhritishu samayeshviha chintyatam tadamsopi

(Presnamarga - chapter 16)

Meaning, if somebody is born in Krita Yuga sign then people go near

him as if directed by god and will give money to him. (He will earn

money without much effort). If he is born in Trata Yuga sign then he

will earn money by much wandering (may be going abroad as well) and

effort. If he is born in Dwapara Yuga sign then he will earn money

by doing business with his own money. But if born in Kali Yuga sign

it is very difficult for him to earn money by any of these means.

(Being the nature of the sign it self) it is applicable to any

planet depending on which sign it is posited in. This could be

thought of and considered even while predicting the results of Dasa,

Antar dasa etc as well. You can co-relate it even with the Navamsa

based prediction.

How to fix this fish in the stack? Out of the 7-fold (Sign, House,

Planet, Sign-House, Sign-Planet, House-Planet, Sign-House-Planet)

prediction system, The Krita-Treta-Dwapara-Kali division fits into

the first fold. i.e. The division represent the nature of the sign

itself, and therefore applicable everywhere. Let it be any tree, the

soil quality of the field is going to affect the tree for sure. And

so this statement.

Let us co-relate this 4 Yuga division with the 4 Varna system as

well.

Krita Yuga = Brahmana = Earnings through Teacher, Priest etc

Treta Yuga = Kshetriya = Earnings though competition, marketing,

wanderings

Dwapara Yuga = Visya = Earnings though Business (Buying and Selling)

Kali Yuga = Sudra = Not much earnings even after hard efforts

Try using it in -

1) Natal chart (related to Lagna)

2) Natal chart (related to planets)

3) In Natal chart Dasa-Antar Dasa (related to planets)

4) In Prasa (related to Lagna and planets)

For all the above related to Namamsa based prediction. Remember

this is not one of the major principle, but rather one of the

universal principle, which has multi dimensional application. Almost

any where you can use this sloka, and for sure it will indicate some

results.

Love,

Sreenadh
