Guest guest
Dear Sreekumar jiI feel Dr.Madhavans book which Madhu ji was referring to is - ''Muddle of Ayanamsha''.I have this book- It is small and handy and gives a general introduction.Publishers CBH -(i feel belonging to Late Professor Muthuswamy )But if you would like to learn more,i would advise works of Chandra hari ji.Rashi chakram is a good book for fundamentals. He has written another book - Hindu Zodiac and Ancient Astronomy -where ayanamsha issue is made pretty clear. If i cite the words of Jyotisha Chakravarthi Brahmashree Mithran Nampoothiripad(foreword to Rashi chakram) - Chandra hari will discover numerous flaws until today and rewrite mathematical fundemantals underlying Jyotisha, resulting in a new beginning of Jyotishashthra samhithas.Let us hope his words come true for the benefit of all of us.I can also send you some articles from Chandra ji,regarding ayanamsha.
