Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji You are right. If it is Bhava that you had in mind, yes it can have different meanings. For example it can the abbreviation for Bhavanam(House). But Bhavanam also got a meaning similar to Bhavam(Devi Bhavam,Roudra Bhavam etc). Now in Jyotish one interpretation can be - ''House'' as it is the House for a Planets.Similarly from another angle''Onnam Bhavam(1st Bhava),Ezham Bhavam(7th bhava) etc'' are the desires of lagna, expressed as 12 -(12 Bhavams). For me it is similar to Sun and other planets.Planetary positions are based on our past desires and acts,is my feeling.I feel different meanings of Bhava can be applied to Jyotish as well. One latent or subtle meaning - as i have said Aatma/Mana Samyojana -Another manifest or gross meaning -House.I have a feeling that the whole Universe arose out of desires and a corresponding Bhava from a Singular Point. Also regarding 12 Bhavas, there is an opinion that sun and moon conjuncting 12 times in a circle of 360 degrees, forms the reason. Kindly correct me. Guest guest
Dear Vijayadas ji, Now onwards I will address you like this, since one more Pradeep ji is there. Your name is beautiful (it is a branching thought) - Vijayadas Pradeep. Vijayadas - The person who is dasa to victory (like Kalidas) Padeep - The one which gives light (Astological knowlede I hope). Should I say 'Prakarshena deepyate iti pradeep'. The one which happly gives away light of knowledge. It is said that astrology is also like a 'deepa' - The knowledge branch, that sheds lights on past-present-future lika a deepa(lamp) which helps us to go forward through the dark future ahead.
