One of my friends tells me, Raman Supraja Raman , grandson of late Dr B V Raman, yesterday send a message to several saying Dr Karunanidhi will be the next CM of Tamilnadu. Ofcourse , everyone enjoys liberty to post any predictions , that he feels will take place; nevertheless, after certain psephologist making known their survey results of the exit poll (Not CNN IBN) of TN , yesterday morning, coming with such astrological predictions on the basis of erroneous data and saying the sub-period of "exalted Venus in 10H in Jayalalitha's chart (Based on Gemini Ascendant) is less favourable than Venus in Karunanidhi's chart, hence the latter will become next CM, may serve the appetite of gullible but definitely no rational thinking people. Guest guest Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 dear friends once the exit poll results are out or when the election results are out, if an astrologer comes suddenly in public and gives his reasoning or prediction(?) as to how or why mr.x or ms.y came to power, it is only to join the crowd. in another group, an astrologer member who claims himself great predictor waited til yesterday evening for the exit poll results and then gave his prediction that jayalalitha would lose. my personal belief is that we shall not predict unless the querent approaches or his family approaches us to predict. in message number 78 dated 15th april, i predicted that jayalalitha would lose the power. this was only due to the disagreement with the prediction made by the learnt member. whether this prediction is true or false only the election results later this week will tell and give a learning experience to all the predicting members. with best wishes pandit arjun , VYASAJI <vyasatvm wrote: > > Sreenadh and Friends, > I have got some friends in other , who use to discuss with me through private mails or at times forwards me, some interesting discussion going in those list.
