Guest guest
dear friends recently i found few messages in sohamsa group and vedic astrology group where few members were preaching what jyotirlinga shall be worshipped for which house etc. there were few queries on what is the basis for such attribution and there were no answers or i could not find them even after searching. could any member advise any link or reference to such attribution of 12 jyotirlingas to 12 houses and advocate the respective jyotirlinga mantra for recital by the native. recently someone attributed the 12 names of ganesha to 12 houses. all gods and goddesses have dwadasa namavali and they too can be attributed to the 12 houses and respective mantras given. are there any classic references, basis or reasoning behind hem. please educate me as i wish to read them and learn more, if substantiated by the classics. with best wishes arjun
Guest guest
Dear Arjun ji, I think Chandra Hari has some answers on the same, but not sure whether he is listening to this conversation or not. If he is I request him to post a mail, educating us about the importance of jyotirlingas and the astrological importance of the number 108, and also how jyotirlingas gets associated with 12 houses etc. > could any member advise any link or > reference to such attribution of 12 jyotirlingas to 12 houses.. > recently someone attributed the 12 names of ganesha to 12 houses. > all gods and goddesses have dwadasa namavali and they too can be > attributed to the 12 houses and respective mantras given. I fear that most of them are INVENTIONS. > are there any classic references, basis or reasoning behind them. We will wait for the response from other leaned members.
