The horoscope in question belongs to Comrade V S Achutanandan.He was

the centre stage of a controversy in March, 2006. As a matter of

fact, in the beginning of this year, whilst addressing a group of

Astrology lovers at TVPM, I told that, there is every possibility Sri

Achutanandan will hog the limelight ,somewhere in the middle of

March. This contention was based on the Transit of Uranus, the planet

of " Suddenness " , over the radical position of Kethu, identical with

his Ascendant, in the month of March. In hindsight, the contention

stand vindicated. Now the million dollar question haunting the mind

of all Keralites world over is whether Achutanandan will become the

next CM, if at all the left comes to power .A section of his own

party cadres says clandestinely that Comrade VS is the media made CM

and not the one chosen by the PB. Of course, going by the precedence

of CPM, this sounds true, since the party seldom projects some one as

CM prior to elections, officially. A decade back the party while

contesting election projected K R Gowri as the CM, unofficially, to

garner votes of a particular community but ditched her , once it came

to power and went in favor of Com Nayanar .Now if you examine the

DBA of VS, it is Ven/Mer/Sn up to 16/05/2006. From the Ascendant as

well as Moon sign, the operating sub-period Mercury is in 8th, a

Dusthana. 8H among many things interalia stands for conspiracy and

intrigues. True to the indications of the chart, this is exactly the

current predicament of Comrade VS, with his rivals in his own party

up in arms, covertly against him. Now the question is, can a planet

placed in an unfavorable (8H) elevate one to CM? In D-10, you could

see the sub period in currency Mercury placed in the Ascendant (Rise

in Status) & Venus the MD in a Trine. This is no doubt a positive

augury. Tr of Saturn, a natural malefic, in the 6th house favors

victory over rivals and Tr Jup in 9H , though a Badhakastana

cements the element of " success " but with impediments.The most

important point, atleast to me , is secondary progressed Moon

conjoining Sripathi 1st house Madhya on 18 March, 2006 in VS's chart

and this point affirms our earlier inference of him getting elevated

to the coveted post of CM. Nevertheless, it is to be borne in mind

that the chart suffers from " Duryoga " the presence of 10L in 8th

identical with its inimical sign(Something you could observe in the

chart of Kanch Kamakoti peethathipathigal Jayendra Sarawathy Avargal)

and the result seen in such nativities downswing in fortune in the

prime of life. In the case of Comrade VS, he won't complete the

tenure even if elected as CM and he need to be extra vigilant in

health matters, especially those pertaining to lungs since the sub

Lahari) and 360 year Savana year for calculation the Natal chart. The

For this horoscope the Lagna and Moon are in the same sign Aquarius

and the sign is aspected by Ju giving the sign importance and

strength. (Hora swami guru ncha veekshita yuta veeryotkatam jayate -

varaha hora). Mo is in Vargottama. So it is ok to give importance to

the Vimsottari Dasa from Moon.

The Dasa lord Ve is placed in 9th in its own house Libra. The Antara

lord Me is placed in 8th in its own house Virgo. The Paryantara lord

Mo is placed in Lagna Aquarius.

The Dasa lord Ve in 9th indicates, good status, wealth, reputation,

rice in position, and hold in the government and politics. So in

general the Venus Dasa from 1989 - 2006 should give good results.

The Antara lord Me in 8th indicates, long life, jobs related to

editorial work, fame, power like a king to judge others and even to

punish, lose of position (or fall from power or position), too many

short journeys, lose of peace of mind due to too many disturbances

etc. This is the general trend for the period Dec 2004 - Oct 2007.

The Paryantara lord Mo in Lagna indicates, changing words (denying

of the said words by oneself), dependence of the decisions or advices

of others, body pain and small health troubles due to too much

effort, unsteady mind, talking too much etc. The Mo is the 6th lord

as well, which indicates, controversies, trouble due to enemies etc.

It is the general prediction for the period Feb 2006 to May 2006.

No wonder he was in the middle of controversy in March 2006. This

6th lord Mo is not going to give much good results, even though the

Dasa lord and the Antara lord is supposed to give fairly good

results. In essence Feb to May would be trouble some period for him,

though not much.

After Moon's Paryantara is over, then comes the Paryantara of Ma and

Ra. Ma placed in 8th and Ra placed in 7th (in Leo) are not going to

give beneficial results, even though the benefits like popularity and

being the center of attention will continue for those periods as

well. But his opponents from within are very strong, and that should

cause the trouble. If the question on " raising to power - to become

CM of Kerala state " is considered, I don't see the positive effects

till the Ju Paryantara approaches. That means, I visualize such a

thing to happen only by around Dec 2006 to May 2007 only.

Looking at the Transit chart as well we could see that the lagna

lord (Moon lagna lord as well) Sa is placed in 6th from Mo (of natal

chart) now, i.e. in Cancer sign. which also does not indicate

positive results. But by Dec 2006 the Moon sign lord transit Sa would

be aspecting the Moon sign (of natal chart), and transit Ju will be

in 10th from Natal Moon. I think this (Dec 2006 to May 2007) is the

positive period for such a thing to happen.
