Guest guest
My dear Lilly, I have a very different perspective about Gods and Goddesses. They are not waiting for our prayers or our attention, but this does not mean they do not care! They are not 'micromanagers'! They never reach out to us and fix our karma or our lives, but wait patiently for us to reach out to them and when we do, they never fail us! That is the WAY in which the DIVINE is different from HUMAN PARENTS! I hope and pray for you that you experience both kinds of love in your life: Parental and DIVINE! Blessings, Rohiniranjan , " Lilly " <tigresslilly2005 wrote: > > I would like to wish everyone a Happy Shivratri. > I hope our dear Lord takes us away from ignorance > and darkness, and into light on this auspiscious ocassion. > > > Lilly >
Guest guest
Lilly, Swami Vivekananda had been named Vireswara by his mother as you might have read and Vireswara is a form of Shiva. Makes sense to remember HIM on this day! Regards, Nandini , " Lilly " <tigresslilly2005 wrote: > > I would like to wish everyone a Happy Shivratri. > I hope our dear Lord takes us away from ignorance > and darkness, and into light on this auspiscious ocassion. > > > Lilly >
Guest guest
Dear Nandini, Long long ago, I once knew a man whose life was closely entwined with Vivekananda in many phases and also SHIVratri, at birth and death, and throughout life for that matter...! THIS time of the year, each year in the northern hemisphere is very significant for some of us! This year it is also associated with the Chinese Year, the YEAR OF THE TIGER! Which has a special significance in my personal life and journey!! I saw a wonderful though very troubling movie this evening: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_(1998_film) Best regards, Rohiniranjan , " nandini " <kakan_leo wrote: > > Lilly, > > Swami Vivekananda had been named Vireswara by his mother as you might have read and Vireswara is a form of Shiva. > > Makes sense to remember HIM on this day! > > Regards, > Nandini > > > , " Lilly " <tigresslilly2005@> wrote: > > > > I would like to wish everyone a Happy Shivratri. > > I hope our dear Lord takes us away from ignorance > > and darkness, and into light on this auspiscious ocassion. > > > > > > Lilly > > >

Guest guest
Perhaps ... Krihnan Dada but sometimes one wonders if serendipity and accidental and impulsive decisions change destinies or even CREATE and ATTRACT Destinies...? The little guy who was born in a village with hardly any medical facilities available who was assumed to be dead and left aside while the mother was being attended to by the well-wishers available at that time. From the hazy accounts available, an " uncle " refused to give up and picked up the placenta still attached to the still-born infant and touched it to a red-hot saucepan! Rather crude and incredible we all will agree but it was early 1900s. The infant cried and the history of a CLAN began with a few contributions here and there in many-a-domains ranging from the tangible to the intangible! Never ever pooh-pooh the 'uncle' who chose not to say, " UNCLE " too quickly or too readily! Nor did the little TYKE ever say UNCLE, too readily!! Guest guest
Both, worldy father and heavenly father have already given so much unconditional love, more than enough to last many lifetimes.. Guest guest
MOTHER's LOVE! We get TWO sets of genes from our mothers, while only one from our father!
