Guest guest
Namaste to All, I am working in a private steel industry now as an automation engineer. I now have job offer in a govt gold mining company. Now i am confused whether to join a govt company or not. I will have to break a bond with my present company, if I have to resign now, by paying bond amount. I am ready to do that if govt job is my true calling and gives me job satisfaction. Sometimes I feel I have already made a mistake in making wrong choice in choosing career. I dont want to repeat the mistake again. Please advise by looking at my chart. Guest guest
Dear Sunil, There is no doubt that your chart indicates a govt related job in sevral ways, whether you will be happy with it or not, which is a different matter. Your lagna is Thula with exalted sun & mars in the 7th house (aspecting lagna) Mars is in own house and is a friend of sun also. Sun's navamsa is in Karkata - your 10th house. Your atma karaka is Rahu with its navamsa in Vrischika. so the 10th from Vrischika is Leo, house owned by Sun. Karkata , 10th of Lagna & 9th of Vrischika has navamsa of sun & venus (lagna lord) again indicting govt related jobs. Vrischika is also aspected by venus from own house - again indicting govt jobs.  You are going through the dasa of exalted & retrograde Saturn in lagna - aspected by Sun (exalted) + Mars. Lagna also have Moon. No doubt this can cause mental agitation due to dilenma etc. So it upto you makup your mind. Guest guest
Sunil_jee, It is not so much govt. job that is important but if all or most of the following exist, then the job in the gold company is likely to be a good choice for you: = A more secure job (govt ones tend be so, generally, but not necessarily) = If you are getting more managerial responsibilities. In other words more people are reporting to you and working under you possibly in more tiers or levels than are in your current position. = If a move is involved = If you foresee some healthy challenges (room to grow in future) = Mother's (or grandmother's (nani; mother's mother) advice will be a significant aid in deciding the matter. Unless the bond is for a huge sum (much greater than 3-4 months' pay) or if you are taking a significant pay-cut by moving to the gold mine job (I doubt it!), perhaps money should not become a major decisive factor. If the new pay is higher, figure out in how many months you would have recuperated your bond-payment. Then factor in the other benefits -- financial and otherwise and you should be able to arrive at an intelligent decision. You should observe a strict fast (for life) on Mondays. Start with giving up all dairy products on Mondays, then move to giving up all white food (rice etc. Yellow rice also counts as White rice! Don't cheat ;-)) and move to one meal that should be simply boiled vegetables without salt or butter or seasoning or oil etc. Best would be to ultimately move to water or weak herbal tea throughout the day with a little lemon juice if you wish. No MILK obviously. Ignore this advice if you have medical reasons. Keep a journal to record your experiences on Mondays (and if something significant happens on other days) with date time, details of the experience. Keep me posted after July 13 every few months how things are going. Let me know if you are choosing to follow my recommendations and also if you are not. Take care, Rohiniranjan , SUNiL Manoharr <sunohar wrote: > > Namaste to All, > > I am working in a private steel industry now as an automation engineer. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thanks for your reply. You have cleared a lot of my dilemma. Since it indicates that 7th house has a lot of role in my chart, I just want to inform you that this job was referred to me by my future father-in-law (I dont know if i can use that term ). I was engaged in sept 2009. I was just wondering since saturn is my yogakaraka and is exalted and aspecting 10th house and also running mahadasha of saturn, is it okay to leave steel sector. Warm Regards, Sunil Manoharr, JSW Steel Limited. ________________________________ Suresh Babu.A.G <sureshbabuag Wed, 10 February, 2010 11:13:00 PM Re: Plz guide regarding my job change Dear Sunil, There is no doubt that your chart indicates a govt related job in sevral ways, whether you will be happy with it or not, which is a different matter. Guest guest
Rohini_jee Thanks for your reply. Below are my replies in blue = A more secure job (govt ones tend be so, generally, but not necessarily) --> Security of Job is not a consideration for me. Since I am confident that i am capable enough to make a living. = If you are getting more managerial responsibilities. In other words more people are reporting to you and working under you possibly in more tiers or levels than are in your current position. --> Yes I would be accepting a higher position. = If a move is involved --> Yes I would be moving approx >200km from present residence. = If you foresee some healthy challenges (room to grow in future) --> Faster Growth is available in my present job. But i may see some healthy changes. At present most of the time i am caught up in my work (Work even on sundays). By moving to govt job, I hope to spend more time with my family and friends. And also more time to spirituality and social service. = Mother's (or grandmother' s (nani; mother's mother) advice will be a significant aid in deciding the matter. --> Yes my mother wants me to move. I am absolutely unable to spend anytime with others. " Unless the bond is for a huge sum (much greater than 3-4 months' pay) or if you are taking a significant pay-cut by moving to the gold mine job (I doubt it!), perhaps money should not become a major decisive factor " There is no pay-cut but there is no pay-rise either. Bond amount is more than my 6 months salary. Money is not a deciding factor. I am dissatisfied with my company for its unethical policies. And for the amount of time I have to give for my work. I will surely follow your advice on monday fast. I have observed (for more than 5 years) that Friday is very bad day for me. I am absolutely scared on friday. what all has to go wrong (or even correct) will go wrong on that day. Is it due to venus being in my 8th house? I chant gayathri mantram 8 times daily. It has been better since then. But still I avoid any important work whatever is possible on Friday. Thanks again. Warm Regards, Sunil Manoharr, JSW Steel Limited. ________________________________ rohinicrystal <jyotish_vani Thu, 11 February, 2010 6:45:14 AM Re: Plz guide regarding my job change Sunil_jee, It is not so much govt. job that is important but if all or most of the following exist, then the job in the gold company is likely to be a good choice for you: = A more secure job (govt ones tend be so, generally, but not necessarily) = If you are getting more managerial responsibilities. Guest guest
Well then -- " the Writing is on the wall " , as they say ;-) Good luck!! Just one point to note! Do not follow my advice in part! Either all of it or NONE of it :-) You ultimately decide...
