Namaskar!

I would like to find out if the Makara Sankranti day is suitable for Vivaha

Sanskara as Surya is crossing from one Rashi to another. Will that make it weak,

or is it that it does not matter? Can anyone please tell me?

No, sankranti should be avoided for all auspicious events.
