Kundalee Free Software : New Version 4.1.1 Uploaded - Not Virus

I dowloaded the Program & just copied in the earlier installed folder. It works

fine.

 

The Error you are getting is not C programe error or virus

 

if you search for the error code on microsoft.com, this is what you get

The error message is due to wrong version of windows oz

" VB6stkit.dll is not a valid Windows NT image "

 

" The system could not locate the file '<Temp Folder>\Msftqws.pdw\Vb6stkit.dll'.

" where <Temp Folder> is the Windows\Temp folder on Windows 95, Windows 98, or

Hence , it is evident that The setup utility cannot find the " Temp " folder. This

happens if the Package & devlopment is created in windows 95/98/me & later

installed on windows xp or windows NT or Vista. Or Vice versa.

 

In Xp or above the " temp " folder is created in User account folders (Documents &

Settings) where as in 95/98/Me it is default in windows/temp

 

in Xp or above you can create a new temp folder and asign it to environment

variable by right clicking on " my computer " - select advanced tab - environment

variables

Namaste,

 

Sureshbabuag may be right in finding the problem in location of temp folder ; I

always work on XP-SP2 while creating Package & Deployment, and in my XP-SP2

Temp folder is both in Windows/Temp as well as in User Accounts. I tested it on

Win98 without any problem, but I've not tested on Win2000 and Vista. He rightly

says :

 

In Xp or above you can create a new temp folder and asign it to

environment variable by right clicking on " my computer " > properties >

advanced tab > environment variables > New , write " TEMP " for 'Variable' and

" C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Temp " for 'Value' if it

is absent.

 

Similarly,

 

Right click on " my computer " > properties >

advanced tab > System variables > New , write " TEMP " for 'Variable' and

" C:\WINDOWS\TEMP for 'Value' if it is absent.
