Simple yoga asanas can also relieve stress, depression, and aide in sleep. The only problem with those who are depressed is finding the motivation to do so. If this is the case, try something very simple like a very short, simple stretching asana before meditation. Then try a simple mantra such as " Om Namah Shivayah " If you can only say 27 mantras a day, then do that until you build up to 108. The Triumbakum Mantra is great for healing, but it is rather long and complex especially if you are experiencing depression. Take care and be well, Shankari Enquire: 'Who am I?' and you will find the answer. Look at a tree: from one seed arises a huge tree; from it comes numerous seeds, each one of which in its turn grows into a tree. No two fruits are alike. Yet it is one life that throbs in every particle of the tree.
