Dear Sri Vatteren Ji,

I full agree with you.

jyotisha in ancient times was parctsied under different market systems than now-

so if we donot change the approach of getting funding.

It can spell doom in the long run..

If Jyotisha or mantra shastra can deliver a value(Yes- we all know it can),

atleast nominal charges should apply.

If we have better weather forecasting methods- why not to go fro the same?

As you are a veteran astrologer- do you think you could kindly suggests steps to

do so and then let us see what we in dinividual capcity to could do to take this

diea froward.

Thanks.

Sir,

In Delhi there are many learned scholars and a couple of them had received

Govt's favour too but not willing to promote these aspects.probably they are in

demand and media favours them a lot.

One reputed about four /five years back was scouting market to identify a person

to support and write to their magazine/publication and approached us .Then such

write ups for ordinary use and for promoting curiosity are not worth to get

involved.

These days many TV Channels have given timings/slots for jyotish and for

discussions but not to build up research interests. An initiative in this reagrd

can arise only when it is proved that jyotish research scientifically too

benifit can promote common cause of the society and is worth to identify funds

to accept proposals for research.only thing which went to Govt notice is Jnatar

Mantars for calculation of planetary purposes. In fact Govts desired to have such

parks one for each state to increase awareness of people and allow further

studies.

Thatway NASA is some what encouraging these ideas and allows for some academic

data
