Dear All

I think even Indian Council for Astrological Sciences,Banglore(ICAS) considered

as deemed university can also welcome such suggestions for promotion of higher

education.A corpus/fund for research is always a good idea.

Even IITs too have centers promoting rural development and things like weather

forecasts and helping the nation and farmer is always welcomed.Wardha too has

one such recently formed centre.Some of these technical heads also show /evince

interest

Promoting higher education by way of contributions/donations from

philonthropists was suggested by our present Prime Minister way back in 1997 as

Finance Minister.So role of UGC in such is minimal.Institutional heads and

research bords of university are competent to promote academics including

jyotish.
