Guest guest
Krishnan dada, People on Internet keep bringing this DIVIDE between ancient cultures, neither of which really mean a thing in modern times! In a global sense -- although in a personal sense, when we stop and reflect we may identify within ourselves not just that brahmin friend or colleague but also the greek brother or jewish sister or italian niece or Eritrean brother or ?ARAB sister that we just hired (who cares how she dresses?> or the Sri Lankan who was more <to be here> than you realized before you hired her! Ranjan ================== Now ON to what really brought on this message! On Jyotish Groups on ! ================== How many Babylonians are still giving astrology readings to those who need same? How many Indians (by birth, soul-connections or otherwise!) are doing the same? Case closed? For me it is! Karma = Action (not speeches and pontifications!) Guest guest
Rohini Ji, it is the cyber space that conceived global aspect and lead to the " culture with in culture " .If we really grope in,culture always evolves with people finding that these man made boundaries have no meaning in reality. Ancient days had some relevance as the maxim was devided we rule better.Today old walls otherwise deviders are now getting broken, cultures are getting acquired.Mergers find useful and meaningful thoughts. Astrology through a Babilonian or Nadi reader of the ancient times would try to reason out karma/actions.In the process art is becoming science and atleast happy to feel near to science as predictions get some regard. it leads to some hope for better future,as the karma./own action should not be sinned at a later stage vrkrishnan --- On Mon, 3/30/09, Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan Greek vs Indien Monday, March 30, 2009, 12:43 AM Krishnan dada, People on Internet keep bringing this DIVIDE between ancient cultures, neither of which really mean a thing in modern times! Guest guest
Dear Krishnan dada! Would you believe it? That night that I first acquired my first terminal program that would let me get on compuserve -- I was so excited that I was speeding and got my first and only speeding ticket in this lifetime! That software(vidterm64) really ended up costing me a bundle!! I have been a good boy since then! ;-) Permanence acquires a new meaning when one begins to learn that while slipping and grappling on to muddy slopes of astrology, one comes across beautiful ledges that represent resting places that could be ... ETERNAL! Paradoxical? You BET! Guest guest
Dear Rohini dada, our day's enrgies mostly get involved in these grappling stories and the analysis that finally comes out of these studies of muddyslopes gives a kind a satisfaction to look for the next to learn something more and better.Being an endless subject it is for the connoseiur to delve into and find out what the grand old subject has got to convey vrkrishnan --- On Mon, 3/30/09, Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan Re: Greek vs Indien Monday, March 30, 2009, 2:45 AM Dear Krishnan dada!
