When clouds invade, often the atmosphere gets cloudy and anything but comfortable. There, the tension is multifarious: Young vs Old, East vs West, Novelty vs Tradition, This guru vs that guru, ?birthdata vs silence ... the same old story! And some of the participants are members here as well perhaps... A newly designed 'rule' was proposed about apsaraas and some examples provided from celebrity data and their well-known questionable nature and so on. The discussion drifted into interpretation of the Apsaraa tales in ancient literature and whether that represented astrological 'hints'. Was there concordance, in other words, between ancient fables, allegories or historical myths and astrological rules as they apply in the modern context? That is when the winds got stronger and dust began to arise! Threateningly!! Obviously, the right approach was to test the hypothesis on blind data so that personal bias could be eliminated. Scientific method and blah, blah, blah ...! I decided to put up a banner as the sand storm arose to quieten the desert! A very ancient ARAB within from some earlier birthtime reminded me rather urgently: When desert storms arise, you MUST lie LOW and hope that you fed your CAMEL well so that he is TALLER than you even while sitting down! It was the first drama/enactment I participated in when I was a very little boy with no understanding of bible or MAYA, or the stage or so on! Preparing and rehearsing with friends and wonderful, supportive teachers who were very strict but also had a humorous side to them which they did not hide and a love for music and fine arts! It was wonderful preparation for life in all its joys and relentless rigours later on, interestingly ...! Never ever take for granted or lose sight of your CAMEL! ;-) Thanks!
