Dear friends,

This is message is for kind attention of all responsible astrologers and members

of the group.

Why not check charts for overall dosha( blemishes of all kinds) that negatively

influences the married life in a chart.

Late illustrious Dr BV Raman in his book How to Judge Horoscope (Volume.II) has

ascribed

Mangalya Dosha( Marriage-disturbance creating faults or blemishes)

to all the nine planets depending upon their ownership and placement.

We should follow his noble footsteps and findout overall Mangalya Dosha in a

chart.

If we are simply checking it for Mars only and leaving the results of other 8

plaents then we are only performing our duty of astrologer in finding out

Marriage Dosha ( Mangalya Dosha) to the extent of 1/9 = 11 percent only,

leaving aside the other 89 per cent unattended.

With regards and best wishes to all,

Dear Panditji,

If 11% is causing so much confusion and confoundment and indecision, imagine how

much more of the same would ensue if even the other malefics and kruras and

functional malefics are thrown into the mix?

Just a thought...!

Dear RR Ji,

Nice sense of humour !

But always picking up and thrashing the helpless mars out in the name of kuja

dosha even if the widowhood, separation, divorce occurs in periods of other

planets is not justice also.

Are not the planets really more helpless then we human beings!

Mangal/Rahu/Ketu or Shani Bhagwan never comes down even if astrologers go on

alleging them falsely whenever they are unable to find the root cause of trouble

in the horoscope.

Dear Mrutyunjay ji,

I personally am of the view that all these labels such as KSY, combust, Mangal

dosh, sade sati, dhayaa, kantak shani, should not be over-extolled as seems to

have become the common practice in jyotish in modern times. There seems to be a

'pressure' on many jyotishis to come across as infalliable and quite frankly,

some of the paddhatis and systems suffered from this same problematic attitude

which basically can be condensed into the adages:

a) We hold the holy grail of truth and the rest of the world is sadly mistaken!

b) It is either 'my way' or the 'highway'.

Sadly, humility and honesty and transparency will sustain jyotish and belief in

it. There are no magical revelations or magical keys in it coming from some

secret body of knowledge as our fantasies and imagination seem to entice all or

most of us into expecting :-) I have seen very bright individuals fall into this

trap and mindset.

Of course those under some kind of pressure to perform will think of all this as

poppycock.

To each his own -- only TIME will tell who is right and who is not. The SAME

Time that preserved essential body of jyotish through all these hundreds of

years during which it could have been decimated, obliterated, mutilated given

all the invasions and intrusions from without and within its host culture in

Sanatan-Bhumi!

Obviously, Jyotish has demonstrated that it does not need human beings or even

faith in it to sustain it over Time. It is God's breath and as long as God

(Creation) needs to remain alive, the breath does too!
