Guest guest
Lagna and moon are undoubtedly the most important orientation points in jyotish. Likewise, the lord of lagna and lord of moonsign (dispositor of moon) are important subjective representatives too. Agreement, so far? If the nodes are conjoint or opposite or in kendra from these four points, then one can say that the influence of nodes would be significant in the chart. There could be other redeeming factors but let us just look at these simple and basic considerations! 4571 out of 9806 charts in a Rodden AA rating database turned out to fit one of these criteria. Half of this fairly large sample shows affliction by nodes! Hence, such a common influence should not make any jyotishi sit up and rub his or her eyes in glee and say, like Gabbar Khan said chuckling menacingly in Sholay, " Aab aaya hai OOnt Pahad kay neechay, Sambha " . It is a very common influence and you have a one in two chance of being afflicted by rahu or ketu whether you are successful or a failure! Nothing to make a big deal about, just on its own! Let us move on... Rohiniranjan
