Dear friend,

There is no Kal Sarpa Yoga in your chart.

Plz see the longitude of moon, rahu and saturn.

Rahu is in between.

If astrologer go on ascribing Kal Sarpa in this way...then the whole world would

be full of Kal Sarp Yoga.

Really Wonderful and surprising ....perhaps the astrologer very well knows that

Rahu/ketu Bhagwan and Shani Bhagwan are not going to punish the astrologers

falsely implicating them.

Moon is at 4 degee and Rahu at 16 degree in the 11th house.

Does nodes influence or afflict other planets that are 12 degree away from it ?

Which kind of orb of influence (Diptamsha) is being used ?

In my humble opinion moon is clearly free from grahana yoga.

Gemstones recommednations:

What logic forces us to agree for gemstones of functional malefic merucury (

Emerlad) and

jupiter(Pokhraj) and Pearl for moon - the lord of deadly Khara Navamsa of the

horoscope disposited by ketu in constellation.

Shani is placed in 11th house strongly afflicted by rahu and if we use the rais

tulya navamsa principle then this gainful picture of 11th house saturn going to

12th spoils the overall result.

The superficial Hamsa Yoga does not stands as jupiter is debilited in navamsa

and neither signlord saturn nor mars in kendra from lagna or moon, nor 7th lord

from jupiter i.e. moon in a kendra from navamsa lagna. Thus the debilition of

jupiter donot gets a chance for cancellation even up to the level of 25%.

The basic weakness of the chart is rasi sandhi placement of the lagna lord of

the rasi chart and 7th lord of the navams chart venus.

Lord of navamsa lagna is mars badly placed in the rasi as well as navamsa chart.

The picture becomes more clear using rasi tulya amsa principle.

This is a typical chart where navamsa chart and rasi chart can be superimposed

and judged over one another alternately...i.e. both rasi tulya navamsa and

....navamsa tulya rasi principle can be applied in assessment of the horoscope.

Now the basic need is to revive or strengthen the chart by strengthening of

lagna lord venus and navamsa lagna lord mars.

The strong diabolic behaviours of venus and mars acting as protector at times

and as maraka at other times demands the need for turning them into rank

benefics with regular and consistent recitations of tons of Maha Mrityunjaya

Mantra.

9th lord in 10th in both rasi and navamsa chart indicates beginning of the good

dharma karmadhipati yoga with the darshan or holy shrines of some of the 11

Jyotirlingams beginning with Lord Mahakala or Ujjain - ruling over Maha

Mrityunjay Mantra.

With regards and best wishes to all,

Pt. Mrutyunjay Tripathy,

Dear Tripathy ji,

Please allow me to admire you for clearly posting your view with adequate

details. In some ways your postings remind me of Dear Arjun-ji's writings. There

is a certain 'light' in both that is unmistakable.

As long as I can remember, jyotish and jyotishis had been discussing and

discussing and discussing about these topics: kal(a) Sarp(a) Yog(a) and the

difficult transits of Shani dev and astangata dosh(a) and gemstones of course --

and the list of perpetuum mobiles continues.

We get strong proponents voicing their opinions on KSY for instance and then we

hear equally strong opponents voicing theirs.

I would be tempted to say that rather than these being attacked and addressed

piece-meal, if these were such iron-clad, black and white considerations, surely

there should be myriads of examples that would clinch the verity. For some

reason, it just never gets done or done half-heartedly which makes me wonder if

it is really all that black and white!

Of course there is the problem with ayanamsha etc (another can of worms if I may

call it that in keeping with the lunar nodes we are discussing!) which creates

more perturbations.

Perhaps these things are not fit topics to be discussed in mixed company like

this forum and similar fora are. With so many different ways of slicing the

mango, it becomes so difficult if not impossible and we are all in the end left

with, " He says, She said! " -- whether we are referring to the ancients or the

modern savants!

But, pray continue -- for these should certainly not be swept under the rug,

lest the resulting lump trip us jyotishis some day...

Dear RR Ji,

You are quite right.

None of us with our limited sense and mental/ intellectual capability are

capable to digest and then correctly express the absolute truth.

Clearly speaking if we see strong nodal afflictions to bhava madhya or cusp or

the houses or their lords suffering multiple and serious afflictions....surely

the nodes get an upperhand in controlling the flow of life.

By the way the nodes having no signs of their own, the simply magnify either for

good or bad the significations with which they are entrusted with through their

dispositions in the natal chart.

If these nodes are seriously controlling and afflicting the horoscope and

disposed with negative significations.....or mixed nature of significations;

then only the native has to undergo the cycle of sufferings.

This is also subject to modifications depending upon ownership of trines by the

nodes.

Another interesting aspect is that of mixed significations( both good and bad)

of the nodes.

Where the astrologer has to look for the mahadasa lords....their influences

vis-a-vis the nodal influences ( Argala and dispositors relationship....of

controller....controlled type)

along with the type of aspect or conjunction....whether closing or separating (

you may either term it as western or say it tajik, but I have learned to use it

from my grandfather along with rasi, navamsa and stellar dispositors to find out

the types of influences and their probable chronological orders of occurrence)

So with the above mentioned astrological tools in our hand if we do step by step

, a clear cut analysis of the chart, we will surely be able to have an overall

subject assessment of the nodal influences.

I have always been for subjective analysis rather than too much objective.

Nevertheless in the forums where the question of people getting benefit from

jyotish comes, objective analysis of horoscope linking events/ life facts with a

narrowed down time frame ( window) and relevant perspective (immediate

situations/ environment of the native) gets priority.

I would be happy to get the collection of your subjective articles / writings on

jyotish you contributed to various astrological magazines and journals so far in

the book form, as one of my wishlist.

With regards and best wishes for good health and long life,

Mrutyunjay Tripathy

Mrityunjay ji,

I agree that several considerations must always be weighed before providing any

serious reading. The tendency to 'pin' everything on one factor, be it nodal

influence, or combustion, or awastha or ashtakvarga is a futile exercise. The

'weight-of-evidence' approach on the other hand is more useful, in my

experience.
