Your friend was born with the lagna in Vrishaba and Chandra was in

the nakshatra of Chitra.

 

The medical condition is due to a combination of features in the

chart. First, he recently started sade-sati and will be under that

influence for the next seven and a half years. Second, he started

the mahadasha of Saturn which started last October, 2008.

 

Saturn is weak due to being in a neecha bhanga status in Mesha in the

rashi chart. However, the indications show that he should recover

from his operation as time wears on.

 

From the navamsha and saptamsha charts, it appears that the operation

was made on the left side of his brain, in the area called the

temporal lobe.
