MARRY TO PIPAL TREE? for Rashmi

Dear Rashmi,

 

Marriage to a peepal tree is an old remedy for people whose birth chart

indicates divorce from the spouse, and used as a way to remove this dosha.

 

It is not about destroying the tree afterwards. Nothing has to be done to the

tree after performing the marriage ceremony with it. But it is said that the

dosha for divorce is removed.

dear friend

 

the genesis of such remedies lie in vaidhavya yoga or such similar

combinations in the chart which predict the woman becoming a widow

etc. some instances were HEARD that if such girl is married off to a

pot and then that is broken, the negative yoga is over and she can

marry to a human and live happily. similarly, the girl is also

recommended to marry a banana tree and then that tree was cut off.

 

other than the above two, i never HEARD of marrying the girl to a

peepal tree. according to my best scriptural knowledge, peepal tree

is holy and worth worshipping and perambulating. planet jupiter is

associated with it and hence peepal is highly holy and reverred and

not at all recommended for cutting off after marrying off etc. it

will be a sacrilege and a sin if a woman marries off to a peepal tree

and then cut off the tree. even banana tree is representative of

jupiter and marrying off and cutting off it is a sacrilege.

 

personally, i do not recommend any such above remedies and natives

must not do any sacrilege and commit sins unknowingly while thinking

that they are doing remedies for good.
