Dear Krishna ji

If i remember right Sri KN RAO has said when a graha is vakra it can give the

results /effects of the sign behind it and in Athichara state the Sign before

it and when in it also in some articles in AM

so the time he accelerates in Makara itself its effects can be considered [may

happen earlier than Ravi's Sankaramana into Mesha and Vrushaba].

any thoughts on this, pl do share with us

regards

prashant

Dear Mr sankarbarayanan,

There are two sepearte issuesraised in your mail as under;

Of this vakra transitions raised by you refers to planets going retrograde

movements when they are near to Sun/aspected by Sun.Both inner and outer planets

often tend to move retrograde of these mercury and mars go retrograd very

frequently. In Jyotisha retrograde planets are considered stronger than normal

planets.Often it was felt that planets retrograde motion give negative results

during dasa/anatardasa times.

where as in transition their effect depending on the house/sign result could be

felt.As of now in transit an outer planet like saturn is in retrograde movement

in simha. This is the time when problems to elderly persons, teachers and others

were felt including father. In enemy house when saturn is in sade sati results

certainly tend to be difficult to deal with.Like this other planets vakra

movements need to anaysed

Second issue pertains jupiter's adisara.True when sun moves to Aries and Taurus

Jupiter will be under adisara moving to Aquarius.one big relief will be it will

be out of neecha and depression. As far as lordship is concerned saturn's

mooltrikona is Aquarius and jupiter's presesence and influence promotes

religious fervour and activities.Being watery sign, adisar movement of jupiter

likely to bring gales and winds of highspeed and distrubences. Possibility of

storms too will be seen in climates.

Adisara refers to velocity /speed of movements, particula rly when it happens to

outer planets, results temporarily will be high and low leading to frustation.

when comapred to the sign of makara, jupiter in kumbha atleast gives some push

and encouragement.

Respected Gurujis, pranam

Need to understand on the ATHICHara of jupiter.

The jupiter is going to kumbh for 3 months from 1st May 09.

Some senior astrolgers are saying that the effects will be same as his position

in Makar and infact it would be double of what he would delivered in makar. (

both good and bad)

However, there is another school which says that the 3 months the gochara should

be considered as transition to " Kumbh " and the effect changes accordingly.

Please give ur views.

simillarly can you give me some idea on the effect of vakra transition also on

gochara.

regards

sankar

Kumar ji,

The statement appears in Bhrigu Nandi Nadi in one of the hundreds of

charts discussed there. The author/translator was Shri R.G. Rao. The

book was originally published in the 80s or so. Wonderful book for

those who like to study charts.
