I thought that silver represents moon & since moon & mercury are natural enemies emerald should not be worn in Silver ring. Is that right? But there is a bit confusion in my mind which I want to share with you. As you have suggested that I should not wear any stone other than Pearl or Emerald, I am bit confused on hearing this as I am wearing zircon in silver for lagan (in my right hand ring fingure) for the last 5 - 6 year and recently I am going to change it with a small diamond in gold (in my right hand middle fingure). And decided to wear Emerald of 5 1/2 ratti in left hand little fingure (in silver as per your suggestion). As in my birthchart there is Budh and Shukra sambandh, then why combination of Diamond and Emerald will not be good, Please explain? and my query still stands why we should wear Emerald in silver and not in gold? The last gem stone that I was wearing for 1-2 years was Yellow saphire in Index finger & Pearl in Little finger which I sold one month back. You are the First to recommend Ruby. I am in Dilemma. Anyway I wanted to try substitute Gems as they will be cheaper & also in silver ring as the cost will be lesser. Is Zircon & Topaz substitute Gem for Ruby & Yellow Saphire respectively. In central India, I have not seen any astrologer suggesting emerald with silver.
