Guest guest
Dear Raja While doing japa when u urself hear the sound of the mantra is sufficient. Their is no need to chant loudly. Japa is done for the pleasure of the Lords. God resides in everyone's heart as Parmatma/Supersoul. As long as He hears our sound vibrations, it is sufficient. One may chant in the mind or with soft voice. Not necessary to chant loudly.  GOD BLESS YOU WITH WARM REGARDS HARESH(HARRY)NATHANI VEDIC ASTOLOGER VAASTU CONSULTANT CELL +919867214103 (MUMBAI,INDIA) http://groups. / group/Jyotish_ Remedies/ database ________________________________ Raja <desi.raja Tuesday, 30 December, 2008 12:36:07 PM Re: japa question remained unanswered. say i am doing japa for agnimurdha.. . Guest guest
dear friend when a person does japa of any mantra at his own place or at a peaceful area of any mantra, first and best is to recite within the heart. second is where only lip movement is there but voice is not out. third is where the mantra is chanted loudly. please note that this above is recommended only for personal meditations and japas. when we do abhishekam to a diety in a temple or do a havan etc., then we recite loudly. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " Raja " <desi.raja wrote: > > question abt japa for learned ones. when one does japa, is it necessary > to chant it loudly or silently counts also when one is doing astral > remedy japa especially. >

Guest guest
Dear Sushmaji, Dr. Narayan Dutta Srimali was a siddha tantrik sadhak from Jodhpur. He has written a extremely usefull book `Mantra Rahasya' with very detailed explanations. There are various mantras for various purposes, and when given by a siddha sadhak, becomes very powerfull Regards Jk On Behalf Of bhagvatjee Tuesday, December 30, 2008 5:46 PM Re: japa Dear Rohini Ranjan Ji Jaya Siyaa Raam What are these Shrimali's Mantras? Guest guest
Mantra cannot be suggested like that without seeing the horoscope. There are so many methods to select a mantras for a perticular person for a perticular purpose. However for daily life, prashiddha mantras like the following can be chanted without any adverse affect, 1. Om Namah Shivaya 2. Krishna or Dasavatar mantras like Kleem, Khsroum 3. 8 letter or astakhsari mantras like Om Namo Narayanaya, Om Namo Jagannathaya 4. 12 letters or dwadakakhsari mantras like Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudebaya etc. 5. Gayatri mantra. However, in some opinion - without initiation the Gayatri mantra is to be recited without the 1st line " Om Bhur Bhuvah Swah " . 8 letter and 12 letter mantras are very good as the 8th house (of rejuvination) and 12 house (of curing) respectively are strenghtened. You can read the book `Vedic Remedies in Astrology' by my Guru Pt. Sanjay Rath for getting further knowledge in mantra shastra. Guest guest
I do not believe that is necessarily true! The terra firma of Jyotish is solidly based on reincarnation... What about the mantras that you had received in earlier births and incanted millions of times perhaps ...? Does all that get lost and you begin again just as you do for earthly languages and schooling? If, " yes " then soul-memory becomes a questionable concept! Guest guest
Mantra Shastra is different from Vedas & Upanishads. These are mentioned is various secret tantric texts like Meru Tantra, Gandharva Tantra etc. If you know sanskrit, try to find out such books in some libraries dig out the informations given there. Alternatively you have to follow the compilation by Late Dr. Srimali, an well known siddha tantrik from Jodhpur in his book " Mantra Rahasya " and by my guru Pt. Sanjay Rath in his book which I mentioned earlier. I do not require any more proof. Guest guest
my dear friend , i have all these books which you quoted or which you not mentioned here, i know Dr. Shreemali very very well, even i can say more then his family members, i do not want comment on him, because he is not more, just for your knowledge - Mr. Sree Mali as you think about his was not like that. as you told about tantric Texts nothing is out of vedas, you called about Meru Tantra that is just a part of Sri Lalita or Shree Chakara Vidya. Tantara is nothing all is Based on Mantra only. Please first read Original Text, then discuss. kind regards Niket , " jk.dasgupta " <jk.dasgupta wrote: > > Mantra Shastra is different from Vedas & Upanishads.
