Hi Rohini and Harry,

 

Thanks for your valuable input. I appreciate your suggestions.

 

To keep you noticed I have been offered a project coming in mid

february and it's going to be an international release. To be able

meet the challenges I must work very hard day and night to update

myself. Yes if the project is given to me then there would be more

than 40 songs that I've to do and it's going to tough one for me.

 

I'm enthusiastic and do believe in quality rather than quantity. But

to some extent you are right that my compostitions are very soft,

sometimes sentimental slow moving and soothing. This is the way my

personality is but to be successful in the commercial world my tunes

should have some added spark. Being a qualified musician having done

masters in contemporary modern music I'm sure I'd be able to live

people's expectation with a little extra I've to deliver. From now

onward I'd try to make lively and attractive tunes as you've

mentioned while not sacrificing quality.

 

To improve my health I've to do lifestyle management by following a

daily routine. Yes I'd try to cut down tea/cofeee and soft drinks.

 

I will work hard till I succeed!

good choice as it is the my ascendant and also very auspicius. As it

is an expensive gemstone I'd like to seem its effects for at least 2

months before I buy the other two. Just need to confirm you guys

being very learned, if jupiter is an enemy of venus and mercury

should I be wearing the gemstones in combination?

That is the very reason why I never prescribe gemstones recklessly or

in a shot-gun approach in settings like these!

By wearing gemstones in our fingures even though they are enemies or friends or

neutral does not creates a fight or enemity. Gemstones just give their

results for the purpose they are worn. This is a psychological fear or phobia

being creating by some to discourage one from not wearing it.

 

When an astro is not certain or has faith in the results of the gemstones, the

astro refrains from recommendation & creates a negative phobia on its usage.

 

Gemstones wearing is not a fashion but a scientific science which gives

results. The astro has to be careful in recommendations. In my experience I

have observed many astros recommending the gemstone which is not required and

the native who wears suffers very heavly.

aushadam - medicine, mantra - yagnas and japams, mani - wearing gem stones.

 

the wearing of gem stones is recommended by scriptures hence no doubt on their

effects.

planets and gems for all malefics should be avoided!

Yes it is not that simple but if you know your strong/weak benefic

planets it would still advisable to strengthen them. I wonder why I

agree to the article you've sent me earlier.

 

Here are a few quotes:

" While weak benefics can be strengthened by gemstones, malefics can

be propitiated by other forms of remedials, including fasting,

I do not agree to what is mentioned in the mail on gemstones. The concept of

gemstones is totally misunderstand. It is not possible to express everything,

yes but if have a through understanding of a horoscope chart, even malefic

planet gemstones are recommended & even benefic planets gemstones are in select

cases not recommended. It all depend on the status of the horoscope, placement

of the planets  & ownership of the house owned by both benefic & malefic

palnets.

I fully agree with you. Selecting gemstone is not that easy. Using gemstone is

always like doing tantra on the body.

 

Our past PM PV Narasimha Rao was advised to wear a red coral for 8L Mars in 10th

house. The astrologer who suggested it, was a genious. He had lagna lord

Mercury, 12th lord Sun and 8L Mars in 10th house. Same case like Chiranjeevi. A

vipareet raja yoga in kendra. When it happens in kendra at east one of the

dusthana lord must be very strong and also somehow connected to lagna lord or

atmakaraka to transfer the power to the native. So Rajeev Gandhi (Sun) fell and

the power was transfered to him in Mars dasa.

 

In case he was advised to wear an emerald, he would have been finished in Mars

dasa.

 

Samit's statment that " If the planet is weak and malefic, then we would leave it

untouched! " is not correct. That means if any part of the body has become weak

and malefic with cancer, should it be left as it is? Or proper treatment is

required?

 

If malefic planet is doing good, why not to advice his gem? And if a benefic

planet is doing harm, why to wear his gem and keep the enemy in the house? Even

Jupiter also may become extremely malefic in a chart.

 

There are lot of miscoception on how to select gemstones, in which fingure they

should be worn and why, how they work etc. Like I have inveriably seen

astrologers recomend pokhraj to be worn in index fingure. That is wrong. The

four fingers represent moksha, artha, dharma and kÄma respectively for the

index, middle, ring and little fingers. No gem is advised on the index finger as

it risks blocking moksha and increasing ahamkara. The gem should be worn on the

fingure depending on which trikono it is sitting and after matching tattwa of

the planet. Best fingure for pokhraj is ring fingure. PM PV Narasimha Rao worn

red coral in middle fingure, as Mars was in artha trikono & agni tattwa of Mars

is friendly with prithvi tattwa. If tattwa does not match, mantra will be more

usefull. Say if Mars is in kama trikono, it is not to be worn in little fingure.

There it will not work.

Agni Ring Dharma

Prithvi Middle Artha

Vayu Little Kama

Jala Index Moksha

 

 

Gems for planets sitting in moksha trikono should not adviced and remedy should

be by mantra.

 

Of course there are much much more to this.

Hi Harry, Rohini,

 

The article rohini sent us is just to my liking. That doesn't mean

that I make a conclusion out of it. Even she agrees that favourable

planet system doesn't work in all cases. You have clarified my doubts

earlier and I respect both of your views.

 

If only one gemstone to wear which one do you suggest diamond/white

saphhire, emerald or yellow sapphire. Please keep in mind the health

issues that I am experiencing right from my teenage. I still would

like to go with Jupiter's gemstone as it my ascendant lord but since

it's sharing house with saturn it doesn't let me get the most out of

it. Also I'm going through jupiter's mahadasha.

 

Since I can afford only one gemstone can some other gemstone provide

better results?

 

What about wearing gemstones of Mars or Sun since they share the same

house in the chart. Sun is also placed well in the chart and it's

antardasha coming next.

 

High cholesterol, blood circulation problem is related to Sun. While

for the organs of elimination Jupiter works best including liver,

kidney, skin/pores etc.

Hi Rohini,

 

A teacher is always a student. I've been teaching western music for

last 5 years still trying to gain more day by day. Learning is a

lifetime process.

 

To answer your question I'd like to be a musician but won't miss the

opportunity to grasp a new subject even if it is astrology.

 

But if there is a confusion in my mind I have to ask about it. When

you wrote the article you were in favour of this system (in 2001)? So

now you have come up with a wider approach and say it depends on case

to case.

The statement I highlighted was extracted from a forwarded article.

One of the members here addded a link to my post. It is not the way I

think so it's not my statement, being a musician I have to follow you

guys with whatever information your provide.

 

Also this doesn't mean I am particularly biased about a concept.

purpose of my post was to get rid of my health problems and seek

towards my musical career. So please someone guide me if only one

precious gemstone to wear which would be the one?

 

Since you're insisting not to wear yellow sapphire in the index

finger then according to my chart in which finger should I wear.

Dear Samit,

 

Malefic and Benefic as are being bandied about here for making a

point, 'some point' are not black and white realities as some

jyotishis would want them to be :-)

 

Hence the statements in classics that moderns tend to trust and have

faith in! Sthana nasha karo Jeeva, Sthan vriddhi -- I will let you

figure out the rest!

 

It is a sad day when some self-appointed Messiha in Jyotish-dom

decides to do away with " functional " beneficience and maleficience

but allows another SYSTEM that uses Placidian cusps and other non-

jyotish concepts to be accepted as part of Jyotish!
