Guest guest
Respected Gurus and Experts,  I am in confusion regarding my marriage scenario and Infact in depression as well. I have just 5-10% idea of astrolgy. Request all of you to please advice whether my marriage will be love marriage or arrange and when it will occur. The following are some of the interesting facts in the kundli related to marriage  * The kundli is of cancer lagna and the 5th lord Mars and 7th lord Saturn are on the same house i.e third however both the planets are retorcrat.. Its often said that the combination of 5th and 7th lords leads to love marriage. What will be the result in this case as the both planets are retorcrat and sitting on 3rd house.  * In the Navamsha of the kundli MARS is in the 6th house and Venus is in 12th.Rahu is also sitting with Mars, which again indicates the love marriage.  *The lagna lord Moon is siting on 2nd house and Venus the 11th house lord sitting on 8th house i.e Moon and Venus are sitting opposite to each other which is agin the case of fall in love (As generally said). Again in this case as the Venus is in 8th house what can be the impact.  The Birth details are - D.O.B - 4 April 1982 Place - Karnal (Haryana) Time - 13.56 (1.56 PM)  Thanks in advance for your valuable contribution Rajiv Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! Guest guest
mars and saturn, both retrograde sitting on upapada aspecting with double strength (R and G drishti) the debilitated mercury that is forming a budhaditya yoga indicates that the individual can be impulsive. Darakarak is placed with gulika in the 2nd house and aspected by venus in the 8th. This makes one overly romantic and this tendency must be guarded against because it is influencing the indicators that are related to work and earnings and professional success. Should be careful with female colleagues so that " signals " are not mis-read! Unlike arranged marriage, love marriage is not something that one has to go looking for! If it is going to happen, it will happen! Mid-July 2008 to mid-January is a period where one would get very 'antsy' about lovelife, as the term goes. Currently lord of 7th is transiting the darakaraka and may actually bring about a hastily settled marriage in the first five months of 2009. Astrology would advice the nativity and his parents etc to be picky and deliberate in their selection. , Rajiv Sharma <rajivsharma4483 wrote: > > Respected Gurus and Experts, >  > I am in confusion regarding my marriage scenario and Infact in depression as well. Your analysis proves that astrology is the most wonderful gift of God. Very Correctly you have anlayzed that I am very much confused regarding the love life from mid July this year and it also hamerring my work concentration as well. Guest guest
Dear Rajiv, For starters: it is one word = Rohinranjan :-) I had hoped that through all the articles that I post on the web and in print FREEly available at several sites and places, I would not have to rehash and use/waste the limited message space on discussion fora to re-explain all that. I tried that and found that it was ineffective and sometimes mis-understood. Hence I would not try it! I would have loved to post the links where more detailed descriptions of my methods and understanding in jyotish have been shared freely, even on commercial sites, but I am sure those would be misunderstood and misinterpreted as self-promotion! Hence for the next few years, I must maintain self-restraint. As to the important part and perhaps immediate consideration regarding female coworkers/sisters: I think you know exactly what I implied! Guest guest
dear friends albeit unrelated to astrology, in puranas there is a story which has an implied message on getting arranged marriage. once ganesha and kartikeya, the two sons of shiva and parvati have become marriagable age and the same thought comes as a discussion. both ganesha and kartikeya says that each wants to get married first. not to discriminate any of the sons, the parents shiva and parvati ask their sons to roam around the world and whosoever comes first would get married. (imagine even the children of gods have to sweat a lot just to get married). kartikeya goes on his peacock vahan alround the globe to finish the world travel and come back as a winner so that he would get married first. on the contrary, ganesha realising that his body and his rat vahan does not allow him to go round the globe compared to kartikeya and his peacock vahan, ganesha falls at the feet of the parents and not only confesses his weaknesses but also lay himself full surrender at their parents feet to get him married. (just like in all cases of a good boy or a good girl blindly nodding his or her head to any match that the parents bring, ganesha seeks the same). then the parents, delighted by ganesha's belief in parents getting him married, get him not one but two wives viz. siddhi and buddhi and lo, with them ganesha gets two sons too viz. kshema and labha. (readers, please do not misunderstand that if a son seeks arranged marriage from parents they wont get two wives but get only one wife these days) poor kartikeya is still trotting the globe and once he comes after a long long time, he realises that ganesha has already got married (in his absence) with two wives arranged by his parents and also has got two sons. then sage narada tells kartikeya that his parents deceived him by making him go elsewhere and performed the marriage of the other son in a hurry without waiting for the groom's brother to be present. then kartikeya goes to srisailam (in andhra pradesh) and do tapas whereafter lord shiva and parvati go there to bless him in the form of mallikarjuna and bhramaramba and the holy shivling in srisailam is one of the twelve jyotirlingas. though unrelated to astrology, such stories hightlight the moral, physical, financial, social and all sorts of support and backing the children get when they go for an arranged marriage. members, kindly note that the above is only an implied (not direct) message conveyed by this story which may be accepted or rejected as you feel. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Dear Rajiv, > > For starters: it is one word = Rohinranjan :-) > > I had hoped that through all the articles that I post on the web and > in print FREEly available at several sites and places, I would not > have to rehash and use/waste the limited message space on discussion > fora to re-explain all that. Guest guest
Dear Arjun ji! What a wonderful reminder! It reminds me of a long-standing 'belief' somewhat reworded...: Gods were created by humans in their image ...! Hindu mythologies are really historical accounts of the prevailing human culture as other religious accounts are as well. Sadly though, modern devotees disagree and separate religious history from modern reality. We are afterall the products of what came before us...! In most cases a sequence with a few 'jumps' and social mutations here and there. We humans are closest to God when we are closest to our-SELVES -- two realities that are not separate but just ONE! Guest guest
dear RRji your observation is correct that natives confuse history and mythology. we present the ten headed ravan and the thousand headed serpent adiseshu as mythology but present the monstersized dinosars as history. similarly most hindu gods are treated as mythology and moses, jesus, shirdisai and mohammed are treated as gods in history with dating of their happenings. however, i slightly shift the track or course of us as astrologers or healers because we are faced with a native who is suffering from something and is not able to identify who is haunting and what is obstructing. like a doctor, we need to find the mythical, planetary or otherwise problem giving forces and give a treatment to mollify those forces and make the native relieved of such feelings. suppose a person is suffering from backache, other than visiting a hospital which should be his first option, whether he goes to an astrology to find the problematic planet or visit a rural healer who chants mumbojumbo aka mantras and soothingly heal with the feathers of a peacock or neem leaves, the objective of all these varied treatments is to heal or relieve the suffering and all that matters in the end is whether the pain has gone or not. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Dear Arjun ji! > > What a wonderful reminder! > > It reminds me of a long-standing 'belief' somewhat reworded...: > > Gods were created by humans in their image ...! > > Hindu mythologies are really historical accounts of the prevailing > human culture as other religious accounts are as well. Guest guest
Dear Arjunji, If I had a backache or shoulder-neck ache I would go to a physiotherapist or (chiropractor, messsage therapist) -- not an astrologer! I was at a presentation today by a homeopath with holistic healing experience and who uses reiki also -- presenting to a bunch of scientists and some M.D.s were present as well. Interesting experience I would say ...! To her benefit, Elizabeth was very open, mostly, and nearly NO DRAMA at all! My dream of perfection is when DIVINATION (all KINDS) gets to that point as well -- through REAL PRACTICAL HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE! Not in some isolated cases but in larger numbers...! Guest guest
Dear Sir, Indeed a beautiful line. In the moment of despair and sadness when nothing seems to go right..the pain and sufferring that makes our soul cry out...is exactly that moment we turn inwards and say a silent prayer.. a prayer so powerful that actually connects us with ourselves and our GOD.The most powerful prayer...that we have the power to believe and the power of faith that things eventually will turn out just as we wanted....that things will be just fine... At that moment where you sit and reach out becomes your holy place and the silent words become your prayer. Regards Ariam , " dahiyajiten " <dahiyajiten wrote: > > Namaste RR Sir > > That was a wonderful line > " " We humans are closest to God when we are closest to our-SELVES " " > and this one too > " " Gods were created by humans in their image ...! Guest guest
Namaskar All, Interesting topic on Love vs Arranged Marriage. I could not resist to put some views in this topic. The first reason why some people opt for arranged marriages are: 1. They are unable to find a partner themselves due to their approach or they dont believe in themselves. 2. Because they do not believe in themselves they look for moral, financial and social support from their parents. I have seen many arranged marriages in miserable condition with families staying to-gether for 11 long years and find that they are not compatible to each other either break up or just drag the relationship effecting the other family members. Arranged marriages is something that a child is either forced or recommended to playwith, but after sometime when the child finds a better, compatible companion in either work-place or anywhere else, then he/she becomes negligent towards the first spouse. Arranged marriages are due to trail of previous relation breakups. Nowadays, arranged marriages are just for financial security and nothing else. Therefore when the financial side is intervened by in-laws then one can see cracks in the relationship or daily useless arguments. How can someone love a person who is recommended at the first place and if one doesnt love that person but stays to-gether just for financial and social reasons, why does he/she care for in-laws. The basic reason for hating the in-laws is that the person doesnt love his spouse at the first place, so it becomes difficult for him/her to accept the interference of the other members who are connected to him/her due to the relationship which is full of compromise and whose pillars stand on financial and social issues with no favour on personal issues. I have a friends who are in arranged and love marriage scenarios. I have found that in love marriage the parents or in-laws are respected properly, while in arranged the scenario is exactly opposite. The very parents who searched the groom or bride are hated like anti- social elements. So in my view the parents should accept the children's choice and fully support them, but on the other hand if children rely on parent's choice then they should fully support it for a life time instead of having wife at home and paramour outside. Guest guest
dear RRji yes, each native thinks differently to answer a problem and some stick to medicine, some self help, some healing, some astrology, some do poojas at temples etc. unfortunately in astrology, healing and divine recourse, the results are not uniform always and at all times hence we are nowhere close to a scientific way of applying a remedy to a problem. you are fortunate to attend such presentations where you find science and faith sit side by side. in india, we have little enoucragement from scientists to sit along and support and what we face are rationalists, scientists and athiests appearing in electronic and print media and appealing natives not to believe in astrology and orthodox faiths. yes, we all in our limited reach and capacity, are trying to serve others in various ways and means. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Dear Arjunji, > > If I had a backache or shoulder-neck ache I would go to a > physiotherapist or (chiropractor, messsage therapist) -- not an > astrologer! > > I was at a presentation today by a homeopath with holistic healing > experience and who uses reiki also -- presenting to a bunch of > scientists and some M.D.s were present as well. Guest guest
Arjun ji, Lest I gave the wrong impression! Scientists whether they are in India or abroad are cut from the same 'cloth' as I am sure you know what I mean ;-) So it is an uphill battle here as well. Unfortunately, what happens in such interactions as per my experience is that the scientist does not take the time or interest to at least seriously become familiar with what the other party's beliefs are and nor does the alternative healer or astrologer take the time to learn the scientist's perspectives. This results in chaos and disbelief because the scientist comes across as arrogant and hard-headed when talking about the other person's subject and the healer/astrologer begins to look ignorant when trying to utilize the concepts of science. There are few rare individuals who have managed to learn both languages seriously but the Ship is huge and would need more than a few yeomen to get it to move out of the impasse it is in. I am hopeful though! Like I was sharing with a member a few minutes ago, nativities/clients are too impatient and always looking for shortcuts and get involved into these blame-games. Sadly, some astrologers also use similar language and reinforce the concept that somehow it is shani devta that is the root of misery and must be appeased through a painless procedure or some magical remedy. Maybe in a few cases but I seriously do not believe that one can get rid of karma without getting involved! Particularly since the original karma was created through " participation " ! Won't you agree? Guest guest
hello all, The point is nothing is perfect and have its own adv. & disadvantages. If a system has comparitively more advantages then nothing wrong in going for it and also its always better to cross a high traffic road with open eyes only. ajay --- Seema Shukla <seema41064 wrote: > Sorry to intreupt What about Love marriage which > break with in a year or so Who is responsible for > that Every relation should be respected .Every one > has hi/her own importance whetther it is > parents/children/husband/wife/inlaws/or I have seen > love marriages which are dragged due to children & > often child is a sufferrer > > --- On Wed, 26/11/08, mg_art2000 > <mg_art2000 wrote: > > mg_art2000 <mg_art2000 > Re: Love / Arrange Marriage scenarios > - Please help > > Wednesday, 26 November, 2008, 6:39 AM Namaskar All, > > Interesting topic on Love vs Arranged Marriage. Guest guest
Another way to look at it (there must be many other perspectives and viewpoints I am sure): People tend to think that there is a 'perfect' scenario in anything, let us say marriage in the context of current discussion. And the perfect model is often quoted as one from relatively earlier times, sometimes even from mythology. The fact is that the society has changed, its rules of engagement and so on have changed (I will not say 'evolved' necessarily and in our " perfect " gold standards we do not take that REALITY into consideration). Also add into that mix the fact that people talk more openly, share more and so we perhaps 'know' more about marriages as opposed to earlier when private REALLY used to be private! Perhaps it is not that the disease has suddenly become more prevalent but perhaps is being diagnosed more often! There is a lot more that can be written about marriage and relationship and the purpose and so on. But that will make the discussion too heavy.
