Guest guest
 May be what you have is a bonsai Shami plant. Pl see the link below.  In any case, it is advisable to have it in a separate pot than two-in-one of Tulsi and Shami. Do you have a space problem or something?  Tulsi is highly recommended and in fact required for all households whereas I have not heard of people having Shami tree/plant at home.  www dattapeetham. com/india/festivals/2006/navaratri2006/oct2/oct2.html  Samee Samayate paapam Samee Satruvinasini arjunasya dhanurdhari raamasya priyadarsini. --- On Wed, 10/1/08, Tella Puli <tellapuli wrote: Tella Puli <tellapuli Re: Re: Fw: PLANTS Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 11:33 AM Samee Samayate paapam Samee Satruvinasini arjunasya dhanurdhari raamasya priyadarsini. May be what you have is a bonsai Shami plant. From what I could guess from the information on Shamee tree that it has lots of horns on its branches. It is also related with Shani Dev, and people burn its wood in Shani Hom. I think, you are calling it a Shani tree or plane as it is related to Shani, but otherwise it is called Shamee tree. Although, it is large tree, but maybe it grows very slow (like Shani's movement) that is why you could plant in a vase in the house, otherwse I think it should be planted in the ground. OR maybe because you have planted it in a vase that is why it is growing slowly. If you plant it in ground and give proper manure and care, it might grfow faster than this. But I don't hink there is any Shani tree, it is only Shamee tree, since i is used for Shani Dev, that is why you may call it Shani tree.
