-snobbish in tn the right spirit for a moment seeing sri av pathi's's reaction i

felt may be it could give the wrong result.

this post by you reassures me and hope all other learned members here.

my snob thread is for the snob only and not for the rest of us here, when he

repeatedly did not head to contribute materially but lampooned all of us and the

forum not worthy of his highness. so i had to say it a bit harshly

Re: Re: Functional Nature of Planets

Dear Ashok Ji,

Apart from shadbalas, naisargik bal too has it's own share that contributes to

the strength of the planets.

Position of the planet commencing from houses1,5 and 9 as most important houses

have their own significance apart from other houses. As all these houses from the

point of view of divisional charts too hold their own significance. In the

process from planets as placed in the natal chart are either getting

strengthened or getting weakened.

:ucchaja bala based on position assumes greater significance.

Now the avasthas of them a planet in 10-20 degrees is best is in yavana avastha

and give results of the sign and house.Rest of the states below 10 and >20 give

results of next house. In vriddhapya planets have no strength and like wise

balyavastha.

Infact functional nature is for broad identification as benific and malific to

identify 7 planets.Nodes being retrograde have no dtrngth of their own.Mercury

too as a dual planet has no definete nature.Exception how ever exaltation and

debilitation.

A planet placed in 7th always has less strength and becomes marak.here 7th

refers to house as well sign in zodiac

7th known to be libra in zodiac is where saturn gets exalted.in this position

except venus no other planet will have strength to deliver results.Jupiter is

therefore no exception. And panchdha mitra too is a significant issue to

ascertain how aplnet gives result.

That way benific may not be benific and malefic planet no more a malefic. In

lagna all planets have equal strength. Also in other two trikonas like 5 and 9

too.

Functional nature of planet is sgnificant only to understand the behaviour of

planets. This functional nature changes based on aspects whether in transit or in

natal positions.

what is important is dasa and position of dasa lord and strength of the planet.

we understand saturn making kings and jupiter creating worst kindle of hurdles

have their own story. It matters therefore to find the status of the planet

including placement, nature of the hosue and certainly the bahava that is likely

to be impacted

Good to hear from you...

*benific planets like jupiter, venus, moon depnding on their avasthas

may give malefic results*

How can avastha changes the functional nature?? Is it placement in

nutshell??

Suppose Ju is placed in Li lagna in Rashi and in 12th house scorpio

navamsa. What is going to be the the functional nature of Ju being

lord of 3rd and 6th house in rashi.

Kindly share your knowledge.

Sir,

In groups no doubt we have several issues that become concern for others. But if

we can resolve either way relief comes to evrey one.otherwise it is difficult to

have balance>in the process the observations/comments give misleading

impressions.Particularly an elderly person taking out time and sharing their

wisdom is a big boon to enthusiasts. It is therefore necessary to use internet

time most befittinglyand sponsors giving a platform for the use of group can not

be ignored. Let's pave way to maintain atmosphere that provides respect to

every one and need for matured expressions finds place
