It has nothing to do with an Ayurved dosh in this context. Naadi dosh is a very important factor in horoscope matching for marriage. In North India a horoscope for marriage is matched on the following 8 factors : [ 1 ] Varna > value 1 point [ 2 ] Vasya > value 2 [ 3 ] taara > value 3 [ 4 ] yoni > value 4 [ 5 ] grah maitri > value 5 [ 6 ] gan maitri > value 6 [ 7 ] bhakoot > value 7 [ 8 ] naadi > value 8 The total of the above is 36. They are known as Guna. A minimum of 18 guna should be present for a horoscope to match. Out of this 36 points or guna the naadi is worth 8 points. Guest guest Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 Hare rama krishna dear krishnan ji yes, even we can fine tune this dosha and even see where can b the areas this afflictions can work out .but we shud think that this happeneing only as dosha or guna when we match with some person ,not all person ,so it is not a astrological dosha .( many also forget astrology combines all knowledge and all knowledge in india used astrology too even i find ayurvedic physicians used it exhastively .tantrics used it ,yogies were using it ) Also so many rules are there and we shud take charts as whole ,here ppl r talking abt some thing bookish and just make others life miserable without knowing wat is it and wat it can giv also need to look for is there is any exceptions in chart itself . ( many parihara or upaya discussion i find some charts need not want upayas and we find they r described as succesful usage of remedies ,for exmaple the last discussion on abhookta moola gandanta remedies which giv lot of controversy too ( prashanth ji also was a party in discussion tho he was silent most of the time ) even i hav seen some astrologers uses poorva janam realtion ships and does matchting ,like souls wanted to meet as man and wife in this birth ,but points may b low .so many may reject the match .but they hav no explanation abt how many succesfully married ppl r there with less points ,reason is mechanical adoption of rishi horas than real uses .
