At the outset I would like to offer my greetings to everybody on the forum,

for Ganesh Chathurthi. May God fulfill your dreams and bring happiness into

your lives !

 

I am recent member of the forum and wanted to ask a question which has been

bugging me for a couple of decades. I have asked this question to quite a

few astrologers, however, have not found a satisfactory answer or remedy. My

details are as under, if anybody on the forum could reply to my query, I'd

highly appreciate it !

Question :

Basically I do have unfaltering belief in God, however, when I try to work

towards being more spiritual (and not religious !) I have to succumb to

unfavorable circumstances which are presented to me at the most inopportune

moment in my life and am forced to waiver from the spiritual path towards

immoral or spiritually degrading behavior, which inturn hurt me immensely.

These experiences have led me to believe that life has actually reprimanded

me for being more spiritual and I wonder if my aspiration of realizing my

higher self will only be a dream in this life ?
