Guest guest
Sunil a good topic and has to be addressed by serious students, followers and practioners of the subject this trend is more for entertainment and the rider must be given that what is personally important must be sought from a professional or a serious person this trend has no exception isn't law, beauty, yoga, medicine , cooking also reduced to such tamasha some r good most of them r just media hoggers in most cases people can make out the good from the bad so we need not worry abput it OUR JOB is to highlight the better side of astrology as we r domg om sich forums people must know the depth, potential to address many serius issue apart fromthe role astrologers play in giving pep talk, morale boosting advices which can change a distressed, dissappointed mind to a successful one whatver be the final outcome we lift them from the bottom to a floating level, when they breath fresh air, instead of drowing this life will open new doors for them responsiblities is both the astrologer community and the public at large quality wil always win Best wishes prashant sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala Saturday, August 23, 2008 11:39:44 PM Everything on the name of Astrology: From past few years, the science of Astrology has undergone a tremendous change, and it has also gained some reputation as well. Thanks to the new crop of news channels with a fancy crowd of tarot readers, coffee readers, self imposed psychics and unknown astrology experts. While these flamboyant people can be a serious source of amusement for a learned, they are treated as serious researchers by that layman out there. This is the part, which can really torment a sensitive brain. I mean, a mere look at those tarot readers can tell you that they are not even aware of basics of astrology and yet they are playing with everybody's emotions. And they are not the only people involved; media has also got a piece in the cake. If you are serious astrologer, you would really get baffled by the sway of commercialization in the purest spirit called astrology. I mean just look around you, a cell phone with a mantra ringtone, a newspaper with twelve predictions, spread for more than 100 Million population, a Short message service (SMS) alert for Future, a TV astrologer selling mantras as vegetables. It seems realization has gone very cheap. As cheap as a thirty bucks cassette with some lone singer's mantra engraved on the magnetic tape with all that incorrect pronunciation of Sanskrit syllables. Predictions are cheap as some pocket size booklet which you can purchase on any book outlet. Nobody even dares to talk about truth. Nobody is a culprit but except us, the common men. We have turned away the truth that something which is exceptional like a prediction cannot be so easy. We have turned away from the truth that molding the laws of nature cannot be as damn easy as a, thug's reading from that left over coffee in our cup. All this is happening because we wanted it that way. Think of those desperate parents who want to do anything to get their daughter married who is losing her age, think of that young lad who is not getting a permanent job, after so many distressed attempts in numerous companies. Our business, our laziness, our easy go disposition, has harvested and watered the so called crop of thugs. Everybody is running after the crispy paper from the mint house, no matter what one has to do, one just do it without looking for consequences. Sometimes I feel that the laws should be stricter in our country. So strict, that thugs can't run their shops. Astrologers should be charged thirty times of their fees, if the predictions go wrong. Tantrics should be charged fifty times of their fees, if results proclaimed do not materialize. But frankly, it will never happen. After all this is the system. Everybody is a part of this system. A newest example is those (So called) saints, who were exposed in a sting operation. They were charging commissions for turning the black money to legitimate money. None of those culprits were caught. They are still out, still spreading their pravanchans (preaching) on those money hungry channels. This is the dilemma, the same population which considered them culprits after the sting, now consider them saints. Our memories have weakened, may be because it is outside our family. It does not matter to us, because none of us got involved directly in it. So, no need to stop them. But one day, this virus will definitely enter our lives and then it will be too late. Turn me off, but on that day, there will be no panacea. Alok Jagawat

Guest guest
Dear Shri Parshant ji and Sunil ji Sirs, Responsibilities of Astrologers community have been well said and what ever may be the kind of selfish interests in personal matters and the made easy media tickling the esoteric issues have become order of the day.Little choice except to succumb to the social pressures and finding difficulties in adjusting to the changing values of the greattest tribe of this universe.Added to this order is increased religious fervour that sounds regimentation narrowing scope for freewill which otherwise strongly jyotish vidya promotes and advocates. Are we becoming more and more mute spectators for the present trends and the onslaught of electronic media on the people vrkishnan --- On Sat, 8/23/08, Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar wrote: Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar Re: Everything on the name of Astrology: 23/8 Saturday, August 23, 2008, 2:28 PM Sunil a good topic and has to be addressed by serious students, followers and practioners of the subject this trend is more for entertainment and the rider must be given that what is personally important must be sought from a professional or a serious person this trend has no exception isn't law, beauty, yoga, medicine , cooking also reduced to such tamasha some r good most of them r just media hoggers in most cases people can make out the good from the bad so we need not worry abput it OUR JOB is to highlight the better side of astrology as we r domg om sich forums people must know the depth, potential to address many serius issue apart fromthe role astrologers play in giving pep talk, morale boosting advices which can change a distressed, dissappointed mind to a successful one whatver be the final outcome we lift them from the bottom to a floating level, when they breath fresh air, instead of drowing this life will open new doors for them responsiblities is both the astrologer community and the public at large quality wil always win Best wishes prashant sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala@ .co. in> Saturday, August 23, 2008 11:39:44 PM Everything on the name of Astrology: From past few years, the science of Astrology has undergone a tremendous change, and it has also gained some reputation as well. Guest guest
Sunil well Every one has a streak of good and bad depending on their karma and the karma of the ppl who get entangled with some good or bad karmic situations it works just like we face a good hospital but a bad or inexperienced doc, or inexperienced lab technician giving a report that can be a source of a mistakem a sinple problem cud be made worse, we also see them making wrong organ surgeries [rifht from left or vicersa] orleaving some towel, scissors, knife etc inside the body and add to futher misery of patients we see lawyers bungling cases NOTHING HAPPENS FREE IT IS SOMEWHERE IN THE KARMA COIN OF BOTH THE ONE WHO HAS TO UNDERGO IT AND ONE WHO DELIVERS SUCH things the lucky ones or ones whose karma is better get timely advice in the last minute mistakes r noticed and fixed u wud have heard in most accident cases a few of ur own known ppl who wud have canceleld their trip in last min and is alive than the ones who had gone on the same day, we must accept the good withthe bad rest is Almighty's grace and our job is to both counsel people and also give them some solace, direction of the bad and good things in a manner that befits the subject quacks will harm the subject no doubt the karma of such quacks will be worse in this life at the fag end or future lives so they must know the chain reaction will be there WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND we have todo our job sincerely with as much hones y as we can leave the rest to the Almight only in cases where the group's peace and interest suffers I will intervene else allow members to make out the good and bad posts and ignore such members by their experience here just beauces it is free they must not get carried away and make wrong choices after initial satisfaction on their cases it is better they seek personal paid readings from such members who have done a good job every individual has a living cost a family and its cost behind them like all othr professions so making some money to live is no crime/sin it must not be forced on ppl who can't pay here we can see the karma of many who go to quacks and pay heavily but on to quality ppl they pay pittance.or just a empty folded hand in MOST CASES. ir is not just this they also trat such advice also poorly and pay the price come back later and repent for it. best wishes prashant sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala Sunday, August 24, 2008 12:22:31 AM Re: Everything on the name of Astrology: 23/8 Hare rama krishna dear Prashanth ji I find this trend in only net astrology recently who ever coming to get predictions becoming astrologers in no matter of time ,and some turns spiritualists (fake ) and claiming having done dasa mahavidyas and fooling public and very senior most persons are sitting without raising a concern . some very educated persons requesting this persons to giv ashirvad .even they r ready to shower their share of ingratitude and bad words who ever spent on their charts but not this fake ppl and after so many trials still matter is not solved and still showing their follery in this matters . some running own grps and trying their self building drama and making of a gurudom in futre at the cost of 50 yr exprnced astrologers who has no courage to talk against these things . if some one talks against it treated as personal abuse . so pls advice us how we can strt to expose such guys .And try to re establish the glory of astrology ? i posted that letter because i can save my typing time as i agree with majority of the points expressed by that person ,so i dont even undersign it and used his name itself .
