Dear Arjun garu,

this is not true that freedom fighters did not use astrology, they did more so

in the time when the LSY was there many wanted Independence after a yr, but

Britiosh forces that were already Bankrupt due to world war 2 and already had

emptied whatever they cud from the country wanted to quit asap, this is not a

victory of the movement than their fatigue.

same was with the leaders who were advided to postpone it leaders like

Satyanarayana Sinha Dr Rajendra prasad, rajagopalachari wanted it delayed

Nehru felt they were aging and hd no stamina to go to jails any longer, there r

many references in History to this, the golden jubliee issue of SPAN, Outlook ,

India today etc will carry such references apart from any of that period.

during medieval days, kings used to have raja (asthana)

jyotishacharyas in the king's court who used to advise the kings of

the good and bad muhurtas and also upayas like, yagams, homams,

danams etc. for the wellbeing of the country as well as the king.

since kingdoms are gone and democracy prevails, each king (read

politicans) has his own astrologers and then some passing commenting

astrologers in tv studios and newspapers who write on all.

few years ago when chandrababu naidu was chief minister of andhra,

his astrologer suggested that the present timing is good for winning

and if he goes to polls as per schedule after one year, he would

lose. blindly believeing his astrologer, babu called for polls, an

year earlier and lost miserably so much so that he could not win even

one third of the seats. hence manmohans' advise to change

astrologers applies to babu as well.

similar astrologers are forcing cineactor chiranjeevi to postpone by

several months to announce his entry into politics. in freedom

struggle, many true genuine freedom fighters joined politics to serve

the country without consulting astrologers and all of them are

reverred and remembered both by the government and the country even

today.

correlating astrology to mythology, i dare say that since the dharma

of the land is in peril (since the king of the land disowns lord rama

and calls him a myth one day and the next day he says that he finds

mention in some vernacular version of a ramayana where rama himself

damaged the bridge), protectors of dharma will romp to power in the

next election viz. bjp winning the election and coming to power.

Dear learned members,

The Prime Minister's words were derogatory to astrologers.

If needed Advani will change his astrologer for a wrong reading, but who will

change the

Â economists of the nation for the economic and financial mess we are in.

Oh! My apologies. Theuy have been changed already into pseudo prime ministers.
